I was awoken by shaking, as Luffy tried to wake me up. Luffy was screaming about wanting to see Shanks and his crew at the bar. I groaned, sitting up, "Luffy, stopppppp~," I whined. Luffy laughed, pulled me up against him, and started shaking me again. I groaned, mumbling something about how annoying Luffy was when he picked me up and threw me over his shoulder. "Luffy, I can walk," I stated half-heartedly, not caring that Luffy was carrying me. Luffy chuckled and ignored me, running towards the bar, I waved at people we passed calmly, making them look at me in shock at how calm I was. When we made it into the bar, Shanks and his crew gaped at the raven-haired boy who was carrying a mysterious white-haired female as if it was nothing. Setting me down on the stool closest to him, I yawned, "Luffy, why'd you wake me up. I was comfy," I groaned, leaning on him.
Luffy chuckled, "I wanted you to meet Shanks and his crew," he said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"I know, but I wanted to cuddle more," I whined, before suddenly getting a burst of energy, "WAIT, IS IT THEEEEE~ SHANKS," I yelled. Luffy laughed and nodded, pointing to the gaping red-haired male. I ran over Luffy, stepping on him on purpose, causing him to groan in pain. I was still a little irritated from him waking me up, getting in Shanks's face. I analyzed him, looking him up and down, before grabbing his hair. "Tomato," is all I said before sitting between Luffy's legs all-of-a-sudden his crew members burst out laughing, and Shanks was blushing from the unexpected bluntness.
Shanks looked at me in amusement before realizing my position in front of Luffy. Luffy's head was on my shoulder, his arms protectively wrapped around me, my body weight leaning against his while my hands are on his hands. "So, Luffy got his first girlfriend, huh, not bad, little guy," Luffy and I looked at Shanks blankly before realizing what he said.
I blushed and punched the red-head in the face, sending him flying into a wall out of embarrassment. Luffy looked amazed then looked confused, "Yuna-Chan, what's a girlfriend," I looked at him in amazement at his innocence before explaining it to him. When I finished, he was a blushing mess, now understanding what the red-head meant, and Shanks and his crew were looking at me, amazed I got him to understand so quickly. I looked at them confused, not understanding why they were looking at me like that. Luffy and I continued talking with the pirates, ignoring their bewildered stares, not moving an inch, both extremely comfortable. The pirates were again amazed by this. I was leaning against the slab of wood behind me, playing with Luffy's hair and saying my thoughts. Luffy was leaning against me. His bodyweight on mine, playing with the hem of his shirt, saying everything on his mind without a filter.
We eventually tired out and fell asleep on the stool. Luffy safely secured in my arms, and I safely secured by his presence.
I was the one awakening Luffy this time. I pushed him off the stool and stretched. Getting off the chair, I made sure Luffy was okay. When I was sure he was, I punched him in the head, waking him up, "YuYu, whyyyyy~," Luffy whined, rubbing his head. I smiled, picked him up, and threw him over my shoulder. We switched roles. Now I was the one carrying Luffy over my shoulder while he calmly waved at people we passed.
When we finally made it to the cottage, I was hungry, "Luffy~ I want meattttt~," I whined after setting him down on the ground. Luffy nodded in agreement, hungry himself. Both our stomachs growled, and I fell to the ground, landing straight on top of Luffy, "Meatttt~" I whined.
Luffy laughed, "You're just like me, YuYu, everything stops working when you're hungry," Luffy picked me up and sat me on a chair, asking me to teach him how to cook meat. I nodded and explained in detail everything that matters when cooking meat. Luffy was hanging onto my every word like gospel. By the time I finished explaining it, Luffy had prepared everything I had listed and started trying his best. Once everything was in the oven, and we just had to wait, we sat and talked. Nothing adventurous, just talking. Both of us, having fun learning about each other. The timer beeped loudly, scaring both of you, causing you both to laugh at each other stupidness.
Dadan, who was asleep, came running down the stairs with a bat, ready to beat the intruder's when she heard children laughing, confused. Dadan peeked out the door seeing the white-haired child getting something out of the oven as the raven-haired brat was laughing and bouncing on his heels in excitement.
"Did I do it right, YuYu," asked Luffy, wanting to see if he made the meat right.I looked at the meat before me, checking the edges and the bottom and tasting the flavor. I nodded to myself before answering Luffy, "Yup, you did amazing. The meat turned out perfect," I praised, popping some into my mouth, causing Luffy to pout.
Luffy made grabby hands, "C'mon I made it, let me try it," the boy pleaded. I faked a thoughtful look before sighing.
"I guess~ don't tell anyone, though. This~ is a secret. I never share my meat with anyone," I warned. Luffy nodded.
"I'll share my meat with you if you share yours with me," Luffy bargained. I laughed before agreeing to the terms.
"Okay, I'll share with you, but only if you share with me. Vice-versa, agreed," I asked the future pirate king, he nodded and shook my outstretched hand.
Dadan stared in shock, having heard the conversation from her hiding spot. Luffy, the little brat who'd share his food with no one, ever, said he'd willingly share his most precious thing with the white-haired girl. Dadan, feeling light-headed, overwhelmed, and sleepy, went back to bed.
After finishing the food, Luffy and I went upstairs to try to go to sleep. I never knew walking upstairs could be so funny. Every time I tried to walk up the stairs, Luffy would pull me in his arms and take my place, then I would hop on his shoulders and go in front of him. The game continued with us laughing and almost falling down the stairs until we reached the top of the stairs. I was trying my best to suppress my laughter when we went inside the place we were staying. Ace and Sabo were asleep on different futons, only one left. They didn't prepare for me. I looked at Luffy, who shrugged, pulling me with him to the last futon and sprawled down, following after him. I put my head on his chest, curling in on him. Luffy put one hand on my waist and the other behind his head. It wasn't the first time we cuddled together, but I liked this the most. Luffy's steady heartbeat quickly put me in a deep sleep.
