(We didn't have to wait too long! I got a computer!)
They had arrived at an island a few minutes prior, everyone was welcoming, but it was strange. What kind of island accept and celebrates the arrival of pirates? Yuna wasn't going to let her guard down.
She felt off. The moment they stepped foot on the land, she noticed how all the smiles seemed strange like they weren't real. "Lu-Kun," Yuna called to the boy who was devouring meat sloppily.
Luffy paused for a moment, looking at her curiously. "Yeah?"
Yuna took the seat next to him before she continued, "This place feels wrong."
Luffy nodded in agreement "I think it's just new to us." He responded, "We've never been to the grandline before."
"You're right I could be overthinking; there could be a different way of greeting people here," Yuna responded.
Luffy smiled brightly with his mouthful, "Yep! I'm sure everything is okay, Yu-Chan!" He cheered, offering her some meat which she gladly took, ignoring the bewildered stares of the crewmates. Yuna decided to brush off that unwavering feeling for the time being, enjoying the party surrounding her and sloppily eating everything in front of her as Luffy taught her to do when they were kids. She enjoyed being around everyone, watching them all happily use their vices. Yuna watched as Zoro and Nami chugged their alcohol happily, Sanji flirted and swooned with the ladies that clung to him, Usopp told his many outrageous tales to all that would listen, and of course, her captain happily ate everything in his path.
Yuna felt relaxed but not unaware, she could feel the stares of people that weren't in the room with them, and she could hear the whispers of planning, but she acted trusting.
By nightfall, everyone had passed out and gone to sleep. Yuna heard noises but didn't open her eyes, acting fast asleep as she listened in. These people were with baroque works, capturing pirates and doing god knows what to them. That made sense to her and she; now understood the code names they would call each other.
Yuna waited before quickly moving from her spot, hiding behind some barrels and using her wind to make her float silently around the area, avoiding the people. Not straying far from her Lu-Kun. Yuna didn't know what to do without causing too much destruction.
Realizing her train of thought she laughed at herself in disbelief. Unable to comprehend why she thought for a moment it wouldn't, she is with Luffy. Finding her thoughts hilarious she burst into laughter, waking up everyone excluding Luffy, and causing a fight to break out.
