Deep within Hell was a mansion sitting atop a cliff overlooking a dead valley of dirt and bone. It's size wasn't too big or small, but was just as intimidating. The pointed rooftops looked like Satan's horns and the double doors appeared like a devil's smile. Anyone could imagine the manor was just the head of a demon, resting upon it's grave. A ruckus was stirring inside the mansion as a creature ran through it's halls.
???: "Sir! Sir, you were right! He's arrived here in Hell!"
An imp in a black and purple mask was seen running down a shadowy corridor in a hurry. His feet treading against the floor as fast as they could. At the end of the hallway was an ominous figure sitting atop an eery throne.
The mysterious character had a terrifying aura around them. Painting lined the walls with unknown demon portraits. Blood red carpet laid in a rectangular shape straight down the hallway. The imp got on it's knees in front of the throne. The unknown demon rose from his chair and cleared his throat. It felt as if an anvil was placed on the creature's shoulders.
Unknown Demon: "So he's finally here... took him long enough. How long has he been here in the underworld?"
Masked Imp: "Only for about a day or so sir! Just say the word and I'll send out a party to bring him into your home!"
A long pause followed the servant's suggestion. The air grew heavy with dread and fear. His body shook in worry at the elongated silence. The monstrous aura was so thick, it could be sliced and served on a silver platter. Once again the shadowed lord cleared their throat, but with more of an agitated tone.
Unknown Demon: "No..."
Masked Imp: "B-but sir? Wouldn't it be wise to capture him now?
The demon stepped down from his throne and walked past the imp. Each step left a thunderous shake in the floorboards. The imp froze as if waiting for their impending doom.
Unknown Demon: "You don't quite understand, so I'll stoop down to your level to better explain the situation to you. Think of it as aging wine. The longer you wait... the better the outcome."
The monster continued to stroll down the hall and turned a corner at the end of the hall. The servant was sweating bullets until the clothes on it's body were soaked. The imp struggled to stand as it composed itself. The tie on it's chest was fixed back into place as the imp jogged down the hall to catch up with it's boss.
[Meanwhile...]
Blitzø: "WAKE UP JACK!"
Jack: "Ahh!"
Jack's head swung upwards immediately. His eyes quickly met with Blitzø's. Jack moved his feet over the couch and stood up. It took his brain a few seconds to recognize where he was. Blitzø's expression meant Jack had managed to screw something up somehow.
Jack felt oddly refreshed and awake. He was successful in making it through one night without any nightmares he could remember. Blitzø didn't give him any time to think as he immediately grabbed Jack's shirt collar and pulled him out of the room into the hallway.
Jack: "W-whats going on?"
Blitzø: "You overslept dumbass! I was going to let you stay here and sleep, but Loona forced me to get you."
