Meanwhile, Sam, Karina, and Dean were all together at Dean's apartment. He took a drink on his favorite drink that grossed Karina out, "Holy crap, dudes."

Sam exclaimed softly, "Yeah. I could use a beer."

Dean walked over to the refrigerator while he quickly explained, "Oh, sorry, man. I'm on the cleanse. I got rid of all the carbs in the house."

Karina muttered softly, "Why am I not surprised?"

"Hey." Sam turned to Karina who was sitting beside him. "How the hell did you know that ghosts are scared of wrenches?"

"I don't know. I just... did it. I never felt this confidence before. I know I should know." Sam chuckled lightly as he looked at her deeply. Karina returned a look before she shifted it down by pushing her glasses in position.

Dean handed two water bottles to Sam and Karina who exclaimed softly, "Crazy, right? And nice job kicking that door too. That was very Jet Li. What are you--like a black belt or something?"

"No. I have no clue how I did that. It's like... we've done this before. All three of us."

"What do you mean, before? Like "Shirley MacLaine" before?"

Karina raised her eyebrows at Dean, "You know Shirley MacLaine?" Dean nodded softly before Karina couldn't help but ask. "Are you gay?"

"No!" Karina lifted her eyebrows more before Dean looked down at her. "No."

Sam chuckled lightly at their chemistry, knowing that he often dreamed about their bickering a lot. "No. I-I just can't shake this feeling like I don't belong here, you know what I mean? Like I should do something more than sit in a cubicle."

Dean commented, "I think most people who work in a cubicle feel that same way."

"No. Well, look, it's more than that." He stood up when he passed by Dean who was sitting beside Karina. They both listened while they switched places, "Like--like I don't like my job. I don't like this town. I don't like my clothes. I don't like my own last name. I--I don't know how else to explain it, except that... it feels like I should be doing something else. There's just... something in my blood."

Dean and Karina were lost in thoughts for a moment, taking all in what Sam said to them. He continued on, "Like I was destined for something different. What about you? You guys ever feel that way?"

Karina took a long time to answer that question before Dean spoke up before her. "I don't believe in destiny. I do believe in dealing with what's right in front of us, though."

Sam was waiting for Karina to answer, then he realized that she was stuck on answering the question. "All right, so, what do we do now?"

Dean stood up, "We do what I do best, Sammy. Research."

"Okay." Dean was walking past him before Sam stopped him. "Did you just call me Sammy?"

"Did I?"

"I think you did. Yeah." Sam made a weirded-out expression as he walked away, "Don't." Dean apologized to him back when they were setting up the laptops on the tables.

Karina was laying on the couch, bored out of her mind. She was deep in thought about Sam's question though. She had no idea who she really was, and who she was meant to be. She was honestly stuck in the core of a world filled with hopelessness and doubt.

Dean found something in his laptop then he gestured to Sam and Karina to look at the website he found. They both approached them as they were giving questionable looks to two men who were dressed in lab coats that featured Ghostfacers.
