There was Dean pacing in worry in the church basement, the pastor gathered the people in prayer on the table. Karina was flicking her knife in her hand while she sat down on the corner of the table. There was an urgent knock on the door that startled the people, Dean looked through the peephole.

He opened the door, letting Ellen inside. Karina stood in worry when she noticed there was someone missing as he entered the room. Dean asked Ellen, "Where's Sam?" She shook her head, then someone passed her a bottle of whiskey.

"They took him? Demons took him? Oh my god. What if they're in here?" The demons?" asked the woman in terror.

"Could they get in?" asked Pastor.

"No." Quickly Dean grabbed his rifle and started walking to the door, "Everybody sit tight. I got to--" Karina stopped him, then his hand was on his doorknob. He looked back at Karina with people who were helpless. He followed Karina's insight as he set down the gun on the table, "Okay, we need to get a plan together. Tell us everything."

Ellen began to speak to Dean and Karina who were sitting with her, "Guys, one of them in Jo. We got to get it out without hurting her." She scoffed, "It called me a bitch."

"Bruise a little easy, don't you think?"

"No, that's not what I meant. It called me a black-eyed bitch." Dean and Karina looked at each other after the response before she continued on. "What kind of demons are these? Holy water and salt roll right off. My daughter may be an idiot, but she's not stupid. She wears an anti-possession charm. It's all kind of weird, right?"

"This whole thing's off."

"What's your instinct?"

Dean answered, "My instinct? My instinct is to call Bobby and ask for help. Or Sam or Kay."

"Well, tough. All you two got is me, and all I got is you both. So let's figure it out."

Dean and Ellen smiled together before Karina started asking questions, "Hey, you know the reason why Rufus came to town? What omen did he mention to you?"

"He said something about water. That's all I know.

She turned to Pastor, "Father, you know what she's talking about-- the water?"

"The... the river-- ran polluted all of the sudden."

"When?"

Austin answered beside the Pastor, "Last Wednesday and the demon thing started up the next day."

"And? Anything?"

"Maybe, but it's pretty random."

"What is it?"

"Shooting star--does that count?" Karina looked down, her eyes becoming a realization. "Real big. Same night. Wednesday."

She ran to the bookshelf while Dean shared a raised look at Ellen, "What did I say?" Karina returned back with a bible in her hands after flipping through the pages.

"So you both think that all this comes from outer space?"

"This isn't X-Files, pal."

Karina read the verse out loud to the audience, "And there fell a great star from Heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell upon the river, and the name of the star was Wormwood and many men died."

"Revelation 10:8." Pastor looked at Karina terrified, "Are you saying that this is about the... Apocalypse?"

Dean responded, "You could say. And these specific omens-- they're prelude to what?"
