Huntress and the Winchesters were all set for separation missions. Sam and Karina were packing up the van while Dean stood behind the Impala. They all looked at each other before they drifted away. "All right, well... good luck stopping the whole Zombie Apocalypse."
Karina grinned, "Yep. Good luck killing Death."
"Yeah."
Sam chuckled as he reminisced the memories, "Remember we used to just... hunt Wendigos? How simple things were?"
"Not really."
"Ditto."
They all looked at each other before Sam pulled out the demon's blade, "Well..." He offered it to Dean, "... you might need this."
"Keep it. Dean's covered." Crowley appeared behind Dean's back, holding a small scythe, he offered it to him. "Death's own. Kills, golly, demons and Angels, and Reapers, and rumor has it, the very thing itself."
Trio had their eyes dilated with shock and interested thoughts before Castiel asked with squinting eyes. "How did you get that?"
"Hello-- King of the Crossroads. So, shall we?" He looked down at Bobby, "Bobby, you just gonna sit there?"
"No, I'm gonna Riverdance."
"I suppose if you want to impress the ladies. Bobby, Bobby, Bobby. Really wasted that Crossroads deal. Fact-- you get more if you phrase it properly. So, I took the liberty of adding a teeny little sub-a clause on your behalf." Sam, Karina, and Dean looked at him while he noticed their faces. "What can I say? I'm an altruist. Just gonna sit there?"
Their heads turned down on Bobby whose face was hesitant of joy. He looked down, pulling one foot off the pedal. His eyes widened as he looked at the trio. One foot at a time, his feet landed on the ground. He pulled himself up, leaving him embraced with joy. They all looked at him with hopeful smiles on their faces to see him finally standing up.
"Son of a bitch."
"Yes, I know." They all turned to the demon, "Completely worth your soul. I'm a hell of a guy."
"Thanks."
"This is getting Maudlin. Can we go?" Crowley left for the car while Bobby sighed with relief with a smile. They all smiled at him, embracing the moment before they went their separate ways.
During the night, Bobby was driving his van while Sam was in the passenger seat. They were all headed to the mission to Niveus. Karina and Castiel were seated in the back together while the Angel received the news about the plan for the Cage.
"Yes to Lucifer, then jump in the hole. It's an interesting plan."
Bobby scoffed, "That's a word for it."
"So?" Sam inferred as he talked to Castiel, "Go ahead and tell me it's the worst plan you ever heard."
"Of course. I am happy to say that if that's what you want to hear, but it's not what I think."
Sam and Karina were surprised to hear his words. He questioned, "Really?"
"You, Dean, and Karina have a habit of exceeding my expectations. He resisted Michael while my Person hadn't spoken to Ariel about making a choice. Maybe you could resist Lucifer, but there are things that you would need to know."
"Like?"
"Michael has found another vessel."
Bobby, Sam, and Karina shared glances with shocked faces. She asked, "Who?"
"It's his brother, Adam. He must have considered it."
Sam sighed in a regrettable tone, "We were trying not to." He shared his eyes with Karina, who lowered her eyes. Thinking it was for the best to not use Dean, she knew deep down. Adam was innocent and was pulled into a game by the Angels.
