3rd Person POV
"Who are you?" Yeon asked on alert.
"You know who I am." Ji Ah said rubbing the injured area as it stung her.
"Answer me." Yeon demanded sternly.
"What's wrong with you?"
Ji Ah asked, confused by his behaviour."Who are you?!" He yelled making Ji Ah flinch a little.
"It's me, Ji Ah!" she exclaimed in shock.
"You don't remember? You just-" he paused speaking as he sensed something.
Yeon quickly grabbed a rock which was beside Ji Ah and hurled it turning around which was caught by Rang.
"Aren't we too old to play catch?" Rang taunted.
"Our relationship is too messed up to play that. I was trying to throw a dead ball." Yeon taunted back to which Rang's smile grew wider.
He turned around and grabbed Ji Ah's hand and dragged her away from Rang, as he broke the rock he was holding.
"Wait, the photo." Ji Ah said realising the photo isn't with her and ran back to the position she had been sitting.
Rang threw the rocks, which were now at least a few dozen, towards Ji Ah. Yeon rushed towards her and shielded her with his body and the coat he wore. They all, fortunately, didn't hit her.
Yeon held Ji Ah's hand again and stood up making her stand too. "Get out of here and go back to Hye Jin."
"What the heck? Are you two dating?"
"Damn it. Ugh, hurry! Go!" Yeon yelled at Ji Ah.
Rang started to ran towards them and seeing that Yeon pushed Ji Ah forward which promoted her to run.
Ji-Ah ran as quickly as she can, turning around every few seconds to see if Rang caught up to her. She slowed down and checked the pockets of her jeans and then her bag for her phone to call Hye Jin but couldn't find it. She cursed under her breath and picked up her speed. She then saw a house and ran up there to see if anyone can help her get out of the forest.
"Who's there?"
Ji Ah flinched at the sudden voice and turned around to see a middle-aged woman.
"I've never seen you before."
"I'm from a broadcasting station in Seoul." she said, bowing a little. "Do you live here?" she pointed at the house.
"Yes." the woman answered.
"Uh, which way should I go to the village?" Ji Ah asked.
"Going over that hill is the shortcut." the woman pointed at a path behind Ji Ah.
"Thank you." she was about to leave but turned around and asked. "Uh, how long have you been living here?" she questioned.
"It's been long. Way longer than you imagine."
"Oh, then, have you seen these people before?" Ji Ah asked, taking out the photo of her parents from her bag. "This photo was taken here a long time ago."
"Huh? Wasn't this woman pregnant?" the woman asked.
"She was. Do you remember?" she asked happy she was getting somewhere.
The woman invited Ji Ah to her house and placed a cup of tea for them both.
"Did you talk to them, too?" Ji Ah started to inquire to which the woman nodded.
"Why did they come to this island?"
"Drink it before it grows cold." the woman gestured to the teacup which was in front of Ji Ah.
"Okay." Ji Ah said nervously and picked up the cup and took a sip.
"She said her baby in her womb was upside down, or that the umbilical cord was choking the baby. Anyway, she came to pray to the Dragon King in Jangsansagul Cave or Jangsan Snake Cave, for a smooth delivery."
"The Dragon King?"
"He is so powerful. Even when Typhoon Sarah came, our island was completely safe. We used to hold big rituals back in time."
"Was it a ritual praying for a big catch?" Ji Ah asked the woman.
"You're young, yet you know about things like this." the woman said shocked.
"When's the ritual at?"
"The Mid-July Day."
"That's July 15th by the Lunar calendar. And did you hold the rituals yourself?" Ji Ah asked the woman which make her frown but she continued saying, "I saw that only one house on this island hung the five-colour flags." she said looking over her shoulder at the flags that's hung.
"It means the one who lives in that house is a shaman. This is my job, and this is how I make a living." she explained to the woman.
"And ma'am," she said gesturing to the photo, "this pregnant woman in the photo is a doctor. If something was wrong with the baby, she would've gone to a hospital instead of a snake cave." saying that she stood up and grabbed her bag to leave.
"Have a seat." the woman said, making Ji Ah halt. "I'll tell you everything one by one."
"You can tell the story to the police."
"You can't get out, anyway."
"I don't drink the tea. I don't take food or drink from strangers." saying that she turned around and started to walk away when she suddenly felt a wave of dizziness. "Huh? What's wrong with me." she said that she saw Hye Jin run up towards her and that's when she fell.

As Hye Jin was walking towards the ritual sight she suddenly felt like rushing towards the shaman's house. She couldn't explain why she felt like that but she ran towards the house nevertheless.
As she ran up the stairs she saw
Ji Ah standing in one place looking like she would fall any second. She ran towards her to try to catch her but she was a few seconds late and Ji Ah fell on her side."Ji Ah!" Hye Jin ran towards her and kneeled down. She tried to get her up but couldn't.
