3rd Person POV
Yeon asked Hye Jin to drive them back as he had forgotten to fill his car with petrol. As she was driving, Yeon noticed a ring on Hye Jin's hand which he never noticed her wear.
"What's that?" he asked.
"What's what?" Hye Jin asked due to the lack of context.
"That thing on your ring finger."
"A ring?" she answered puzzled by his stupid question.
"Yeah of what?"
"The fuck? Can't you see?" Hye Jin questioned worried about the sudden dumbness. "You okay?"
Yeon rolled his eyes, "I just never saw you wearing that."
"Okay and?" she let out. "I would've brought it or maybe I had it all along but didn't wear it." she said shrugging.
She didn't want to tell anyone at least not yet. The promises they both made were for themselves only. Maybe after all the chaos ends, they both would tell about the promise ring they exchanged.
Yeon, Hye Jin and Shin Joo then reached at Yeon's apartment where Ji Ah and Hyunuiong were staying currently.
Just as Ji Ah heard the door open she ran to Yeon and hugged him. Shin Joo stood behind them in guilt along with Hye Jin who was lost in her thoughts.
"You were worried, weren't you?" Yeon asked Ji Ah. "Don't worry, both of them are fine."
He pulled away from Ji Ah and turned to Hye Jin saying, "She erased their memories, they won't even remember that they met the Imoogi." Yeon was proud of how quickly she has been levelling up her skills and powers.
Ji Ah hugged Hye Jin while smiling, "Thank you." pulling away she smiled at Yeon saying, "You too Yeon, thank you."
Shin Joo hesitantly spoke up, "It's my fault. It's because I was gone."
"It wasn't your fault, Dr. Koo. I know you have been protecting my mom and dad." Ji Ah said genuinely thankful for him.
While Yeon was talking with Hyunuiong, Hye Jin dragged Shin Joo aside to talk privately.
"What is it Hye Jin?" Shin Joo asked curious.
"You know Yoo Ri won't do it intentionally right?" She asked him.
When Shin Joo didn't reply, she punched his stomach which prompted him to hunch over with a yelp escaping his lips. This caused Yeon, Ji Ah and Hyunuiong to run towards them in alarm.
