3rd PersonPOV
"It's the vemom of the starving demons." Shin Joo said as soon as they arrived in the room when he had called them secound ago.
"Do something!" Yoo Ri said scared for Rang.
"Lord Lee Yeon hasn't returned yet."
"No!" She said blocking the way to the door. "You can't go anywhere. If Lord Lee Rang dies, I'll die too." She said in a low voice
"I will repay you by doing everything I can." Tears slipped down her face. "Please, please! Help him please." she sobbed, pleding.
Shin Joo looked at how broken and vulnerable she looked and he couldn't have a heart to ignore her pleas and leave her. He straight away started to go anything to help Lee Rang.
While he was doing that, Hye Jin walked up to Yoo Ri and placed her hand on her shoulder which caused her to look up.
"I know we are strangers but, trust me when I say this Yoo Ri, Rang will be fine.
It has been a few hours and the sun's set when Shin Joo treated Lee Rang's wounds and started giving him drips. Hye Jin went outside the room to talk with Hye Ja, to ask if Ji Ah and Yeon showed anything different.
"How's Lord Lee Rang?" Yoo Ri asked Shin Joo.
"It may take a few days until the venom is gone from his body, but he will be fine soon." He said while packing up to leave.
"Why aren't you asking me anything? It's right in front of you. The reason why I approached you." She asked carefully.
The look on his face said it all, "So you knew." She stated.
"I saw you with him by coincidence. And thanks to that, I was taken to a junkyard and was beaten up."
"By Lord Lee Rang?" She asked looking at the sleeping Rang.
"Yeah."
"Then..why did you treat him?"
"Because I didn't want you to cry."
While both Shin Joo and Yoo Ri were staring at each other, Rang had woken up and called out to Shin Joo while sitting up.
"Lord Lee Rang." Yoo Ri went towards him and helped him sit up.
"Where's Lee Yeon? And..HyeJin? Is he back? And did she also go through this?"
"He didn't come back yet and HyeJin didn't go through it." Shin Joo answered
"Where is she?"
As Shin Joo opened his mouth to reply, Hye Jin walked in the room. She looked at the two of them before her eyes settled on Rang. She sighed softly and asked Yoo Ri to get a glass of water for him. Shin Joo bid them goodbye and left the room.
Rang visibility relaxed his tensed shoulders. He was glad that at least she was okay and not in the same situation as Yeon.
"Ah, are you feeling okay? Does anything hurt?" She asked while she was fidgeting with her fingers.
It was the first time she spoke after getting to know about her past and getting to know that Lee Rang was her first and true love in her past life. Just thinking about it like that makes her feel weird as she still hasn't fully grasped about the whole truth of her life. It was as if she was living someone else's life for the past 25 years.
"I'm fine." He said. "Just worried about Yeon." He mumbled but Hye Jin heard him.
"Yeon will be fine, I know for sure."
"And how is that? How do you know he will?" He said sighing while leaning on the bed rest.
"It's a long story and I'll tell you after you get well but for now trust me when I tell you, Yeon will be fine."
Then they both were in a comfortable silence for a minute but then Rang broke it.
"Where's Yoo Ri? Getting a glass of water shouldn't take this long."
"I'll go and check." Hye Jin said to Rang and turned around to walk.
But she haulted when she felt a wave of dizziness. She tried to grab the wall for support but missed it by 3 cm and fell down on the floor.
Rang's shouts brought Yoo Ri and surprisingly Shin Joo in the room. When they saw Hye Jin unconscious on the floor, Shin Joo picked her body and followed Yoo Ri who showed him to the guest room. Rang followed them to the guest room with the support of the walls.
The three couldn't understand why she fainted so suddenly. They didn't want to assume anything bad.
"What if she's also going through what Lord Lee Rang went through." Yoo Ri said worried for woman.
"It can't be. She should go through a door and the spirit of darkness didn't even ask her the question." Shin Joo explained. "Let's just assume she fainted because of exhaustion because the past four to five days has been too much to handle for her."
Hye Jin had revealed everything to Shin Joo, from the fact that she was Byeol in her past life to the fact that her 25 years of life was a lie.
After a little struggle, Yoo Ri managed to drag Rang back to his room to let him rest. While Shin Joo decided to stay back and wait for Hye Jin to wake up. Hye Ja was with Yeon and Ji Ah so he wasn't that troubled leaving them alone.
Hye Jin looked around from where she stood. She didn't understand what was happening, one second she was in Rang's room and the next somewhere unfamiliar.
"Where the hell am I?" She said looking around.
The surroundings were not familiar to her even if she tried to recognise it. She tried walking around to understand that was happening.
