"So first we're gonna take some of this." Inesa says while inspecting a tube which she had just fished out of my sister's makeup bag. With the state that bag is in I have not a clue how she can find anything in there, but she does it almost immediately.

She places the white tube on the desk and then proceeds to search up the other items which she might need.

Despite this being Sara's room, and Sara's makeup, she seems more than comfortable just leaning back and watching Inesa do her thing.

The room is slightly larger than mine, although it definitely doesn't give that feeling. The room is furnished way more densely than mine, and a bit more chaotic. Along the wall at the foot of the bed stands a tall bookshelf, and while it is completely filled with books, to the point where I would doubt that she could fit even a single one more, they don't seem to be organized in any way.

Right under the double-window and next to the head-side of the bed lies a small bedside table, which is also covered in a stack of books, all of which have at least one bookmark each sticking out from between the pages, but most have at least three.

Right next to the door, to the opposite side of which it opens, stands a simple wardrobe.

But currently I am seated on a soft office-chair, right in front of a dresser with a mirror nailed to the wall right above. Along the border of the mirror Sara has strung a string of lights, which casts a soft light across my face.

"Aaand then these colors should do alright." Inesa slams shut a long and thin plastic box and places it right next to the tube.

Sara gets up from her bed where she was sitting. "I usually just buy for my own skin tone, but do you think it'll work for him? I do have these other older ones that I never use, but they don't quite match either."

"Yea, I think so, if we mix these two and just use a little I think I can get it to work." Inesa places another smaller box on the dresser.

"And of course powder." Sara reaches for a round box and puts it by all the others.

"What are you guys going to do, with all.. that..?" I have no idea what any of those things are supposed to do, save the powder which I thiink is supposed to make your skin look smooth? Maybe? I have no idea.

"So first we are going to use some primer so make sure that the rest of the makeup will stick and also last longer. Then we are going to color correct your neck using green, and eventually red or orange, that way it won't stick out as much, and then once it is a little less aggressive looking, I'll add a mixture of these two concealers." Inesa points at two colors on two separate pallets.

"And then, once that is done, I'm going to put on a layer of powder to keep it in place and make it last longer."

I turn towards Sara who just nods like everything makes perfect sense.

"Yea.. Ok.. I got none of that." I just look at them both with a blank look.

"Whatever, let's just do this. You'll understand soon enough just angle your head to make your neck easier to work on." My sister then pretty much shoves my head to the side while Inesa picks out what brush she would rather use from Sara's unnecessarily large collection.

...

"Wow.." All I can do is wow and look in awe at the result.

"Like it wasn't even there." Inesa crosses her arms proudly and Sara looks up from her bed and her book.

"Yea.." I slowly answer amazed. It does look gone. Inesa got my skin tone perfect, and while if you look really close, you can tell that the texture is a little off, but a couple steps away.. It's almost like magic.

"Just make sure not to get another one, because then you won't get any help. Or else you'd better learn." My sister swings her legs off her bed and puts a bookmark between the pages she had been reading before shutting her book.

"Thanks a lot." I answer sarcastically and give Inesa a discrete glare. "How long will the makeup last?"

"Most of it should still be there in the morning unless you sleep like a laundry machine, but you will probably have to reapply some of the foundation and powder throughout the day. This stuff is a nightmare to remove." My sister replies, getting an agreeing nod from Inesa about the last part.

"It's fortunate for you that you already had PE this week though, because after a shower it will be completely ruined. Doing this whole process in handicapped bathroom isn't the most comfortable." Inesa points out.

There is no way that this will be gone before next week though.. I lightly touch the covered up area. Considering the deep red color, there is no way it will be completely gone until at least two weeks.

"I'll help you perfect it again in the morning." Sara assures me. "But in school you'll have to do it yourself."

I twist and turn my head to see my neck in the mirror better. If the light hits it just right you can also see a slight glitter.

"And.. You're sure that no-one will notice?"

"Positive, unless you let someone put their arm around you, then they might get some on their sleeve."

"Ohh.." I'll have to remember to prevent that. Shouldn't be too hard.

"By the way, couldn't you have asked "your girl" who did this to you for help?" Sara suddenly switches up the conversation.

"I.. Suppose.. It slipped my mind at the time." Nervously my eyes dart to Inesa who innocently seems to have discovered an interesting dot on the floor.
