"Heyy.. So I'm gonna go now.." All that confidence I built up before knocking just vanishes in an instant.

Both the girls just look at me confused, but it is Sara who speaks.

"Like going to bed or what?"

"... Huh? Wait what? No! I'm gonna be leaving the house!" Jeesh, I made perfect sense!

"For a walk?.." She tilts her head even more before a look of realization comes into her eyes after noticing the bag slug over my shoulder. "You'd better not. Like I said, if you get another one of those marks, I won't help you, even if you have two at the same time. Your carelessness, your downfall."

Sitting at the opposite side of the bed, and still confused unlike my sister, Inesa furrows her brow slightly.

"Where are you going?"

...

Sitting on the train my head is spinning.

There is no way I am doing this right now, I'm either a pushover or paranoid for leaving so easily. Not wanting to risk it.. Turning over that quickly.. So.. Yea, probably both honestly.

Welp, the next station is mine.

...

The only thing I really thought about during the entire train ride, although it was a relatively short ride, was how I got into this mess.

Looking back on these past couple days, I decide that my "ptsd" is completely justified. In fact, shouldn't Inesa be going to prison or something for kidnapping? Not that I actually dare do anything about it, I doubt the police would even believe me, because after all, mythological beings are just that, right? Mythological. Not real.

At least that's what I thought before.

Come to think of it, could this not flip my worldview around quite a bit? If succubi exists, what else does? Maybe I'm better off not knowing, since what I already do know, is kind of ruining me.

Oh my.. What if creatures like the Yetis exist and those "crazy people" are right on!?

Yea ok.. Calm down now Hal.. Even if it could be true, that's irrelevant, stay on topic.

I raise my hand to ring the bell to Inesa's house but pause in hesitation. Is this really a good idea? Ignoring the fact that I am going back to the house which I got kidnapped to and tied up in, I am here by invitation. So it should be fine?..

I take a moment to look at my watch. 9:51 pm. Not too late, but late enough for my eyelids to feel ever so slightly heavier than normal.

Yes. I have to go in.

A clear and cutting sound with a rather pleasant tone echoes in the house as my finger both presses the button down and then releases it.

Tonight is a good opportunity to ask all the questions I wish that I had asked before the last time I left.

I hear soft footsteps draw nearer from the other side of the door, until they stop, and the dark brown door swings open, first just a little bit, but once Valorie sees that it is me, she lets go of the door and pushes it open wider for me to catch.

"Hi and Welcome!" Inesa's mom smiles warmly and wide. "I can't really say that it's been a while, but I can imagine that it feels like it for you?"

"Hi.. Uhm, yea, I guess you could say that?.." A little unsure of how to act, I twist my head to glance at the neighborhood.

"Please, you don't have to be nervous. While I only consider you to have been a guest last time, this time you really are." She lifts her hands for me to see. "And I promised nothing weird. Come in!" Valorie takes a step back and to the side, gesturing for me to enter.

I sigh. "Don't mind if I do, thanks for having me." Stepping inside I shut the door behind me and remove my jacket and shoes, my jacket which Valorie takes from my hands and hangs up on the standing coat rack.

"I got home just a half-hour ago and was about to have some dinner. Would you like to join me? Otherwise you can go upstairs and shower or whatever. You can borrow the guest bedroom for the night."

"Thanks.. But I already had something to eat. Where is the shower?" I figure a shower is a good way to calm my nerves and get more comfortable in this environment. I can ask questions afterwards.

"Alright, the guest bedroom where you can put your stuff is upstairs and straight down the hallway, and the bathroom is to the left, right across from Inesa's room. You will find towels in the bathroom closet." While speaking she gestures towards the stairs, and upon finishing, Valorie waits to see if I have any more questions.

Seeing as I stay silent however, Valorie nods towards me and slowly turns around to walk towards the kitchen and her dinner.

Her walk reminds me of Inesa. While her figure is more developed, she swings her hips and walks nearly identical to her daughter.

Finding myself left alone I grab my backpack strap and bump it up before taking a few steps towards the stairs.

The house unsurprisingly looks just like it did the last time, and I can almost see the scenes that played out here the last time between the kitchen and living room.

Shaking my head clear, I put that behind me and walk up the carpeted flight of stairs, allowing my toes to just barely drag against the nosings protruding from each step.
