Another cold gust of wind comes by, sending me into shivers.

"Are you ready to head back inside yet?" I ask. It feels rude to just leave on my own.

Hina sighs. "Yeah, I'm ready. The weather here is pretty comfortable for me though. But I understand."

We walk back to the elevator together. And although I try to come up with something to say in order to fill the silence, nothing comes to mind.

Hina giggles a little bit once we enter the elevator, and I tilt my head towards her questioningly.

"We're an odd number of girls in our class, and as there are only up to two beds in each room, someone has to sleep on their own, aand as the class president, the teacher decided that I'm trustworthy enough to be the one." She looks at me with a glint in her eye that can only suggest something mischievous.

"Congrats on the extra space?.." Hal. Shut up. Don't draw baseless conclusions. She's only pointing it out in order to have something to talk about. It isn't as if she's trying to get at anything.

"Thanks, but no. A big part of the fun of school trips is having a sleepover, and being alone is just boring." She grins. "Have you ever wondered what it would be like sleeping with a snow woman?"

I cough, here it came. "I uhm.. No.. I can't really say that I have.." Why is this elevator going so slow? I swear that it was faster on the way up.

"Bet you are now though. It's a whole different sensation you know, with our body temperature being so different and all. I could make you feel things you've never felt before, and if you miss out on this, there's a good chance that you'll miss out forever.. Besides, we've already prepared ourselves by bathing."

Any words that I try to put together get stuck in my throat. I thought Inesa could be direct, this girl is on a whole different level of directness.

After several seconds of standing and not saying anything, and probably blushing like an idiot, Hina can't hold in her laughter anymore, and begins to giggle uncontrollably. "I'm just teasing you! Don't take things so seriously. There will definitely be a hall monitor, so I doubt you could even get it."

I let out the breath that I was apparently holding. Honestly, that could've been a really mean joke, potentially getting my hopes up. But I'm relieved. I have my hands full already with Inesa, I don't need a second girl going crazy on me.

"You are cute though. Let me know if things don't work out with Inesa. Seeyu tomorrow Hal." Hina winks at me and then proceeds to stride out of the elevator. The floor which my room is on is one more floor down.

"Seeyu tomorrow. Goodnight."

...

New day. We went on a guided tour to a couple historical sites, which was interesting, but honestly not the most fun experience, and I believe I'm speaking for everyone when I say that the part in the day that everyone has been looking forward to is the time when todays planned schedule ends, and we get to check out the town on our own.

And there is a good reason for this. Fukuoka is technically less known for its history, although it does have quite a bit of historical importance, but nowadays, it is most known for its cuisine, as well as having a great nightlife.

We split into friend groups, and Hina somehow ends up hanging out with us. The first thing we do is look for a food stall selling some tonkatsu ramen which this area is famous for.

The sun is almost completely set, and the streetlights are beginning to flip on.

Because of the people we are forced to walk closer to one another, and when I feel a cool hand brush against my own, I look next to me and I see Hina's cheeks a shade redder than normal.

Really? That's nothing to get embarrassed about. I hold in a smile of amusement over her reaction.

Hina clasps her hands together to prevent it from happening a second time, and our group continues to journey onward.
