I woke up finding myself stuck in a bunch of bushes, I wriggled myself out somehow, barely, and then proceeded to straighten out my hair and dress, that's when I noticed how my feet were bare.

"Where are my shoes?" I asked looking around everywhere nearby but saw no sign of them whatsoever.

"Whatever I can always ask my friend to retrieve them back, speaking of Lizzy, I think I should stop hanging with her, this partying lifestyle is not for me." Forget about being accepted by the group when this kind of scenario would become the norm. I finally decided to pay more attention to my surroundings, but quickly found out nothing looked familiar.

"Shit, they wouldn't play a stupid prank like tossing me out onto the streets right?" I asked myself out loud, hoping these party animals would have some decency, but one fact remained, I didn't walk here on my two feet, even if I was certain about the fact my memory seemed to be extremely hazy.

"Wait I don't even remember drinking that much." I could feel that something was amiss. Next, I recalled the existence of my purse but it too was nowhere in sight.

"Was I robbed?" I found myself panicking because I had neither a phone nor money. But things got just freakier from that point on. When I decided to finally hit the road, to search for any help possible there were only Asian people around. The fact in itself didn't scare me, what was odd about it, was that I have never seen so many in one spot inside my neighborhood.

"What is going on?" I quickly noticed that even if people tried to mind their business before passing me by they stared intensely in my direction, sometimes their mouths twisted weirdly showcasing disgust.

"I can't ask anyone for help like this." I understood seeing someone with no shoes on was weird, but they didn't need to react this strongly.

However, once I walked out of the park, I realized the reason why I was only seeing Asian people no matter where I looked, every sign and advertisement was freaking written in Japanese. And after connecting those two dots together I eventually realized the ridiculousness of this all.

"Did I get kidnapped?" I mean how else was I supposed to end up here of all the places? I always wanted to go on a trip to Japan, but not like this.

"Wait here a moment... why is everyone's fashion like this?" Even if I wasn't keeping up with the latest trends, something was amiss. Then another crucial detail came to mind, where were all the smartphones, people were carrying those bricks or flip-phones from like fifteen years ago. I retreated back to the park and plopped my ass on the bench to think this through.

"I am under the influence of drugs?" Well, it sure didn't feel like it my mind was clear and totally capable of critical thinking. Sitting didn't do it, I just spread myself onto the bench like butter, questioning the reality of life, and ignoring the strange looks from passersby.

"What is even going on?" I asked particularly no one and then heard a distant motorcycle noise.

"Maybe if I close my eyes, and take a nap, everything will magically go back to normal?" Since I had no other ideas it was worth a try, despite I barely got the chance to close my eyes before someone yelled in the distance.
