"Why in the seven heavens would you let that chick join our ranks in Toman? Don't tell me you secretly hate women and you're wishing for another gang to harm her in your stead?..." Draken's voice trailed off at the end of his sentence as if he was unsure of his own allegations. Which made me wonder what kind of nonsense he was on about. Therefore I pointed at my neck, to ease his worries, reminding him what his precious friend was truly capable of.

"If you're concerned about that person's fighting capabilities here lays your answer to your stupid, unnecessary worries." After finishing my speech I could see certain doubt in his eyes, was he taking his dearest friend for a liar? Considering he believed I was him at this given moment.

"A...right...then, don't tell me she is your official toxic girlfriend." As soon I heard this rubbish I felt my blood boiling from rage, not only did he have the audacity to assume I would be crazy enough to date his psycho friend that would surely benefit from a visit to a therapist, one that he himself couldn't recognize. But additionally, he paired my appearance with such a nasty word, which made me wonder if he was wishing for early death caused by my hands.

"Are you blind?! Can't you tell what's truly taking place before your own eyes?!" I asked, questioning his sanity. He struck a thinking pose right after as if he was trying to figure out some difficult riddle I presented before him.

This gave me a slight window to think, although I considered this before now I was truly certain I had enough of trying to prove myself to everyone around me. All I needed was my own recognition of who I truly was, and Pah-chin that apparently was the smartest around here.

My guess was that perhaps body exchange was too wild of a concept for them to accept, and it didn't help that Mikey was acting cold and distant, something the Toman founders weren't used to by chance.

"I got it!" Draken suddenly yelled, startling me shitless, and interrupting my important inner monologue, but I decided to hear him out, which turned out to be a mistake.

"This all must have been a well-coordinated prank that was made by you and Mavis!" I heard myself groan, as if there was still this little speck of hope within me, that was expecting to be recognized, that nevertheless got disappointed again, but this guy didn't stop his delusional tale.

"You two must have started chatting on the internet right? And once she mentioned something about studying abroad you shot your shot and recommended our school, so the two of you could meet." Why did his made-up story sound like a cliche rom-com development?

"And when you were missing for a whole week, you lost track of time when showing her around!" This guy couldn't be further away from the truth. Perhaps he read too many of Chifuyu's manga? Where were those ideas stemming from otherwise?

"Me? Spending time with Mikey?" I asked in sheer disbelief. Sure if I was dealing with his younger version possibly we could have gotten along, but all I wanted to do now was throw that rascal under the bus just to never see him again, even at the price of living as him forever. I could feel my hands itch to do just that, which made me question if those were even my own thought to begin with or ones influenced by Mikey's dark impulses.

"But what if he gets isekaied and comes back by wielding some OP magic to get his revenge?" I found myself questioning out loud, totally ignoring the made-up stories of my supposing best friend. Perhaps that would be taking too much of a risk.

"And I bet the two of you are just acting being on bad terms... You got me good Mikey, for a slight moment there I almost believed your lies." I glared in his direction, showing my displeasure with his final conclusion on this matter, and then my face ended up looking even more sour when he started to mess up my hair.
