Y/N'S POV

"What the fuck happened to your faces?" I blurted out, my brows knitting together as I stared in confusion at the three tired girls slumped over their desks.

I had just returned from a useless search for Yuna and Ryujin, only to find my friends looking like they'd been through a war zone.

I plopped down in my chair, still slightly annoyed by my failed search, and took in the sight before me.

Dahyun was the first to respond, lifting her head from the graffiti-covered wooden surface of her desk.

"Trying to sleep nowadays is so hard," she complained, her lips forming a pout.

Tzuyu let out a huff, propping her elbow on the desk.

"Don't know what you're talking about. I feel just fine," she muttered, though her struggle to keep her eyelids open betrayed her words. She rested her chin on her palm, her eyes drooping dangerously.

Chaeyoung, seeing Tzuyu, couldn't suppress a yawn. She covered her mouth with one hand, her eyes watering slightly.

"I don't think the problem is the time we went to bed, but the time we got up," she said, her voice heavy with sleepiness.

-FLASHBACK-

"Why did you have to wake me up so early?" Chaeyoung whimpered, standing up and wrapping her arms around her body to keep warm. Her eyes were half-closed, and she shivered slightly in the morning chill.

I gave her a side-eye, feeling a twinge of irritation. Sometimes, I forgot just how much she could complain.

"I only woke you up because Jihyo told me to," I said, finishing my sentence with a yawn. Despite having slept a solid nine hours, I still felt groggy.

"Now, help me wake up the other two. You get Tzuyu, and I'll get Dahyun," I instructed, dragging my feet towards Dahyun's spot.

"Fine," Chaeyoung groaned, her exhaustion evident as she shuffled away.

I rubbed my eyes, still a bit puzzled.

"Wait," I said, scanning the beds again.

"Where's Dahyun?" I looked around, not seeing the familiar figure of the black-haired girl under the blankets.

Chaeyoung froze, her face paling slightly. "...not again."

- END OF FLASHBACK-

"I don't want to go back to that place," Dahyun quivered, her voice barely above a whisper, probably the memories of the previous warm and tight night tormenting her.

"You are alright, you are alright," I reassured her, gently patting her head, hoping to calm her down.

Once she nodded, I straightened up, my eyes darting to the classroom door.

I was anxiously awaiting the arrival of my two missing friends. Every thirty seconds, my gaze alternated between the door frame and the time on my phone. My legs were almost shaking with worry.
