A woman stood in the door way. She was an older woman, her almost white hair lined her wrinkled face. Her brown eyes glared down at the two. She was tall and slender. She stepped out onto the porch, giving a better look on her face. A scar shot down from the left side of her face to her chin ending at her neck. She wore square glasses with thin lenses, they're arms sitting on her pierced ears. Her shaking hand clasped around the wooden railing. She took in as many features of the two as she could in the low light. Her eyes suddenly widened, her mouth opened.
"Hidan?" She screamed, the moons light catching the Jashinist pediment sitting around her neck. Kakuzu groaned, of course they'd run into another religious nut job. He looked over at Hidan, who was squinting, trying to see who shouted him name. The woman sprinted down the stairs and nearly knocked him over while hugging him. "Akari?" He asked, much quitter then her.
Though Hidan looked almost nothing like he used to, the features he did heal back made it obvious as to who he was. His eyes, though a little cloudy, were a vibrant pink, just as they used to be. Pink irises are seemingly impossible, Hidan wasn't even born with them. Grey hair at 22 wasn't common either.
Kakuzu remained quiet, watching as the elderly woman embrace his partner. Hidan had never mentioned anything about this woman, but he never said much about his past either.
The woman pulled away, squeezing his arms. "How'd you get so thin? Who's that?" She asked, turning to Kakuzu. "You mean Kakuzu, he's my boyfriend." Hidan explained. The womans eyes lit up. She let go of Hidans arms and clasped her hands. A bright smile on her face. "You finally got a fuck buddy, did ya?" Within a moment Kakuzu found out where Hidan got his mouth from. Kakuzu sighed, he could tell this woman was going to get on his nerves. She extended her arm as fast as a attacking snake. "It's nice to meet ya, I'm Akari. Hidans old woman." She stated. Kakuzu took her hand. "It is nice to meet you as well."
Akari smiled at him, her face much softer. "Do you two have a place to stay?" She asked out of the blue. "I fucking wish we had, but we're kinda on the run right now." Hidan huffed. Akari whipped around a wider grin on her face. "You should stay here! As long as ya want!" She offered. Kakuzu weighed his options. Sure they'd get a free room, however, not only would he have to deal with Hidan, he would also have to deal with the woman that raised him. "I'm sure we'll find somewhere to stay." He decided it was not worth the trouble. "Oh, come on Kakuzu, please!" Hidan begged. "Alright. If it's fine with you." Kakuzu caved, hoping the woman might let them go. "Of course. It's been forever since that dumbass came to visit me." Kakuzu inhaled slowly, he muttered a swear too low for either to hear.
"Come on, we'll freeze to death if we stay out here any longer. Well, Hidan won't, but I sure as fuck will." She grabbed her upper arms and spun around back to the porch. Kakuzu grabbed Hidans wrists and helped up the stairs.
Akari turned the knob as she pressed the open palm of her hand on the mid of the wood, carefully pushing it open. She stepped in with the door, holding it open. "Your room hasn't changed much." She exclaimed.
Kakuzu, knowing that it was too late to turn back now, entered the home, his hold on Hidan loosing. The moment said man was in the house, the door slammed shut and Akaris hands were back on his cheeks. "What the hell happened to your eyes?!" She screeched. Now that he was in the light, his features became more pronounced. His pupils dull and the pink a mimic of its original shade. "Long story but to cut it short, I got buried alive." Hidan wrapped his hands around the wrists attached to the fingers that were currently pulling at his skin. "BURIED?!" She boomed, her hands grabbing the sides of his face tightly, if it had been any tighter she'd crush his temples. She erupted into questions. "YOU GOT BURIED? BY WHO? WHY IS THIS THE FIRST TIME IM HEARING ABOUT THIS?" Her eyes were as open as her volcanic mouth, her upper lip almost hit her nose as she worried. "I only got unburied not too long ago. Oh when I find that fucking kid!" A sudden anger took over Hidans voice, raising it to about half of Akaris volume. "That fucker isn't worth the effort it takes to sacrifice him!" Her voice, though 1/5 of what it once was, was loud enough for Kakuzu to think his eardrums burst. "He stopped me right in the middle of a ritual! That asshole called himself my god, THAT USELESS FUCKER!" Akari gasped. Kakuzu held back a smile, watching how those two act was insanely comical.
"That cunt dare mock lord Jashin." She said lowly growling through her teeth, face reddened, eyes bulging out of her skull. She closed her eyes, finally releasing Hidan from her hold. She pressed two of her fingers against the symbol on her neck. "He'll learn the true meaning of pain soon enough, lord Jashin will allow him to feel anothers suffering." She finally said.
Her face calmed, a worried look replaced the rage she previously felt. "So you've been blind since you were buried?" Akari asked. "I could see for a bit, then my fucking stomach got slit open." Hidan laughed raising his shirt. Despite Hidans behavior, the elder woman looked horrified. She snatched his arm and sprinted to a room on the right side of a hallway between the kitchen and living room. She stuck her head out of the door and looked at Kakuzu. "You can stay in that room across the hall. Make yourself at home." Her finger almost hit the door she was pointing at before she ducked back into the room.
