It was about 7:30am, right before school officially starts. I was waiting for the rest of the friend group to show up. We needed to make a plan because this after noon is our schools swim tryouts. I knew for a fact that Percy was going to be there and coach tends to not let anyone in who is not trying out so it would be a perfect time to question Percy without Annabeth being there.
I spotted Austin walking into the school and rushed over to him. We are the athletes out of our group so I know it won't bring any attention to our plans, "Hey Austin!" He seemed to jump a little when I spoke to him but I knew there was something wrong because he doesn't spoke easy. I grabbed his arm and stopped him. "What's going on with you?"
"I...I ugh..." I don't normally rush people but i knew there was something wrong, " well go on spit it out!"
"I talked to Percy and I think if we are going to accuse him of hurting Annabeth then we need to make sure we get real evidence not something based off of what we think is going on!" He stated very clearly. I was a little shocked buy went with it.
"Well then I guess we are gong to need a confession and I know exactly when, where and how! All we need to do now is wait." I motioned Austin to follow me. We had about 20 minutes before the final bell rang. I rushed towards the locker rooms in hope no one was in there. I pulled Austin to the back corner of the locker room before we started talking.
"Here's the plan. Today after school starts the boys swim team tryouts and I've herd that Percy is going to be there. It wold be a perfect time to question him because we all know that coach won't let anyone in unless they are trying out. It would be a perfect opportunity to ask him 'a few questions' if you know what I mean!" I looked up from my rant and saw the look plastered on his face.
"What's wrong with you?" I questioned him with a complete serious tone. He shook is head and brushed the question off. "Come on what is really going on with you?" He took in a deep breathe and answered "Nothing is wrong. The plan is great I just want to make sure that we have the right guy and this isn't just some coincidence!"
I was a bit shocked
