Jake had a huge smile on his face. One that is hard to determine whether it's true or fake. But Heeseung wasn't receptive either way.

"Get lost," he sighed, while getting up to change seat.

But Jake had the adequate determination against this kind of closed off attitude. Without missing a beat, he reached out his hand and came to press his thumb on the very spot of the bleeding wound he saw the night before. Heeseung immediately froze.

"I just want to talk, why are you so cold?" said Jake with a fakely innocent tone.

His breath cut by the pain, Heeseung let himself fall back on his chair, before glaring at Jake.

"Good boy," Jake mocked.

Heeseung brusquely grabbed Jake's collar and creaked,

"If you don't want me to put a real crack through your skull, which I apparently failed to do yesterday, I advise you to be really careful, dumb fuck."

Jake, still smiling, took the most sufficient tone known to man to declare,

"Whose house do you think you broke in last night?" Heeseung frowned. "It may have been a party, but these people were my friends, which you aren't. The whole property is covered with security cameras. How easy do you think it would be for me to get my hands on the one film showing you enter the place all bleeding like you were?"

Heeseung let go of the collar, obviously taken aback.

"Your friends? You're a first year."

"And I'm also Jake Sim. What's your point?"

Heeseung sighed and ran his hand across his face.

"I'm sorry for your head," he finally gave in.

"I accept your apology," nodded Jake, obviously very happy.

"..."

Heeseung was waiting for Jake to leave, in vain.

"Ok, I'll also pay for your lunch," Heeseung finally said, getting up.

"Yay!" exclaimed Jake. "Can I invite my friends?"

"Absolutely not."

"Will you tell me how you got hurt if I don't?"

"..."

"I'm calling them."
