Six-year-old Visenyra sat in the Red Keep as her mother gave birth. The young girl could never understand why her mother always came to Kings Landing to give birth, but she kept her mouth shut. Her little sister would soon be born. Her purple eyes shifted from her father to the open window. Arrax had gone hunting, and the young princess was bored. Her eyes were unfocused as she considered that it was a possibility that this would be the last living child her mother would have.
"Kepa, nyke going naejot jikagon pikībagon" (Father, I am going to read) Before her father could respond, the young girl jumped off his lap and walked away. She quickly made her way to the castle's library. As usual, the young girl walked silently and melted into the shadows as she approached her uncle, who seemed frustrated.
She knew that something had happened, but her parents were careful not to speak of it in front of her "Kepus" (Uncle). Daemon whirled around in shock as he heard his niece. Once again, she had snuck up on him and this time she was out of the range of his sword. Maybe she should receive sword training. He watched as his niece walked past him and started reading the documents in front of him. It was only a few minutes before the young girl put down the papers and grabbed her uncle's dagger.
Daemon rushed after her hoping the catch the young girl before she could cause any damage but he was surprised at how well she avoided him before dashing past her father and into the birthing chamber "Brother she saw" Immediately Viserys followed after his daughter as the two men entered the watched as Visenyra effortlessly slit the throat of the Maester.
Aemma, who was still in labour, watched in surprise as her daughter killed a man and then the young princess rushed over to her mother, dropped the dagger on the floor and quickly rinsed her hands.
"Get more hot water and a clean cloth" Her voice was hard and full of knowledge so much so that the servants did not hesitate to follow the young princess sighed before checking her mother with her fingers and paused when she felt the head of a child.
"Mother, I need you to push now. " Aemma followed her daughter's words as Visenyra got ready to get her little sister. The maids rushed in with a basin and the cloth and watched in awe as the young princess helped her mother deliver the child. As her mother struggled, Visenyra glanced around and panicked. "Get her broth and honey sticks! "
As the maids rushed to follow her orders Viserys watched as his daughter took control the young girl glanced up at her father "Kepa I need you to come here" the man hesitantly walked over as his daughter mumbled "Massage mother here and here" She pointed to the areas the man watched her in surprise.
"Now Kepa!" Viserys followed instructions as his daughter instructed the servants to help her mother. As two girls came with the broth and honey sticks, Visenyra nodded. Bringing the broth to her mother's lips, urging her to drink. And Aemma drank without any hesitation as she finished the broth. Visenyra instructed the maids to give her the honey sticks.
Aemma watched as her daughter then checked and nodded at her father "Muna push" and Aemma did to their surprise the child came out easily and slipped into Visenyra's arms the young girl gently wiped the blood off of her sister cleaning her with the water and cutting the chord.
As Visenyra took care of the baby, Aemma now stared at her daughter with knowing eyes. She sent out all the maids and watched her oldest daughter. "Who are you?" Visenyra paused as her father and uncle looked at her. She gently placed down her sister. Visenyra paused, then confidently stated, "I am Visenyra Targaryen, the child who was not supposed to live," while her father and uncle looked at her. Targaryen's Aemma blinked with teary eyes. "Who were you?"
Visenyra's eyes glazed over. "I was Amaryllis Joseph, the youngest surgeon of my time". The girl spoke with pain in her eyes, and soon Daemon asked, "How and why?" The smile on her face seemed out of place for a six-year-old girl.
"I died after saving lives and your child was supposed to die. However, the prayers of your grandsire, husband and good brother were answered so your child lived," Soon Viserys held tightly to the bedframe "Tell us of your time"
"It is years ahead and wonderful yet cruel, new and advanced ways of healing but weapons of mass destruction. I was the youngest of four. I loved learning and medicine was something I was good at. "
Visenyra held her little sister and kissed her head. "Rhaenyra, I'm here to protect you. " Now the room focused on the babe. "protect her from what?" Now the girl could not ignore it "The beginning of the fall of House Targaryen".
Inside the birthing chamber, Visenyra Targaryen told her family about her old life and the wonders of it. That day sealed her fate as the beloved child of the two people. Her eyes no longer held secrets but freedom.
That day three, Targaryen swore to help the young girl flourish in this world so she could ensure the absolute survival of their house.
