Alicent screamed in frustration as her father reported that Rhaenyra had chosen her ladies in waiting and based on the smirk lady Tyrell gave him, she had not been chosen. Turning to her father she glared at him "This is your fault if we hadn't gotten banished from court due to that woman's actions I would be in the king's sights by now" Otto Hightower could not help but frown, in a way Alicent was right he should have left her at Rhaenyra's side to manipulate the princess more.
He failed to realise the person he should have been worried about was Princess Visenyra, who at this point sat in front of her father with a glass of wine her eyes on the flames. "I have and produced children as is my duty luckily it was with someone I loved." She took a sip from her glass before looking at her father who seemed to be on high alert "I have watched my mother give birth and witnessed her death and now you are making me watch her die for the third time I hope you are proud of yourself Father".
Viserys winced as her words landed and he realized that his daughter was furious. "What sin have I committed for this treatment". Her eyes seemed to glow in the light of the flames. They reminded him of the stories his family used to tell. Yet he could not help but let himself make a prideful comment.
"You can still be wrong after all Otto is a loyal friend and Alicent has been only asking for advice" The silence was loud, Visenyra did not even speak instead she calmly placed her drink down and bowed at her father before leaving the room. Tonight, she had decided her father was no longer someone she would take care of. An hour later the eldest princess would visit her mother and mutter a prayer before going to her husband. She stayed safe in his arms where her soft cries were allowed and not judged.
Daemon returned three weeks later as the Lord of the Stepstones and Rhaenyra and Leana were quite pleased with his victorious return. Both looked at him with joy and love. Even as he sassed the members of the court. None noticed the looked exchanged between Otto Hightower and his daughter. Now was the best time for them to act the Queen was heavily pregnant, Mellos was on their side, and nobody would question their suggestion. Unfortunately for Aemma, this was the last event she would know of.
The Tourney was announced and Visenyra sighed she turned to her husband who stood in his yellow and black and shook her head "Wear all Black for the tourney". The man nodded and glanced at his children who held each other in their sleep. The two had inherited their father's tanned skin and mother's features the most surprising thing about them however were their eyes a mixture of brown and amethyst. They would be very attractive when they got older, he did not want them to grow up under Hightower's rule.
The couple shared a look of understanding before Visenyra sent several letters to her inner circle all written in code. They would learn the hard way that the throne was built on the blood, sweat and tears of the Targaryen Dynasty.

When the tourney came around many looked out for the Realms Blessing and her family, the announcement of the King was one thing he was alone with the Hightowers. Many watched as the man sat down with a wide smile before looking around for his daughters. Before he could ask for them they were announced "Princess Visenyra and Prince Consort Mekar" The two walked in holding their children there were no smiles on their faces as they walked towards the seating area. Dressed in black and dark shades of orange that resembled flames. They stopped walking for a bit almost as if it was practiced because then Rhaenyra was announced "Princess Rhaenyra, Prince Daemon and Princess Laena" The trio walked a few paces behind dressed in black with red detailing it was quite clear that they were accompanying the eldest princess. As they all took their seats there were no smiles or smirks.
It took a few minutes for the crowd to stop cheering at the first public outing of the royal grandchildren. As the tourney started many noticed that the King's brother was not participating and in his place was one of his closet guards. Yet they did not question it.
As time went on Visenyra seemed to get more and more cold, so when her father began to whisper before leaving she frowned and rose to her feet "Uncle Daemon I trust you and your future wives can handle this" The trio nodded and watched as the Princess left. Visenyra ran after her father.
Her eyes were glued on the man as he whispered with Mellos and held her mother's hand. She walked into the room and pushed him away from the woman "Leave" her voice cold and almost emotionless as she kneeled by her mother's side placing a kiss on her head "Goodbye mother, I promise I will protect our family"
Tears fell from her eyes and unto her mother's hands. Aemma watched her child and smiled "I love you, child, do not mourn me for long." The queen placed a kiss on her daughter's head and cheeks before giving her one last smile "Go" Visenyra listened and left the room as Mellos walked in with Viserys. The girl stood outside the room as her mother's screams of pain and betrayal filled the halls it was followed by the cries of a child and her father's relief that it was a boy.
Visenyra stood with her hands clenched and hate-filled tears flowing down her face she turned and looked into the room and let out a pain-filled scream. It echoed through the halls, a guard rushed to see the Princess holding on to her mother's bloody corpse as she could only weep. By the time her husband and sister found her Visenyra was numb.
In the following years, the books and stories would say 'The day the King chose to follow the words of a Hightower supporter he lost his daughters and the Realms Blessing had lost her light and became the cold-hearted warrior known as Visenya Reborn.'
