An update on everyone after ten years:

Yuna:

Became a pilot

Co-Pilots the Mark 8 jaeger, Noisy Boi; a hip Japanese power house

Found love with a k-pop idol who was on tour in Tokyo

Danielle:

Became a pilot

Co-pilots the Mark 8 jaeger, Twin Cities; a two headed brutalizer

Has yet to find true love, but is looking

Winter:

Left the program to becoming a k-pop trainee

Debuts in k-pop group, Aespa; a four member metaverse based group, as the lead vocalist and lead dancer

The group disbanded after 6 years of service

Winter is now a soloist

Recently got all of the members backstage tickets to her most recent tour

Found love while visiting Spain for a music video

Has been married for 2 months

Ryujin:

Became a pilot

Co-pilots the Mark 8 Jaeger, Twin Cities with Danielle

Has been married to Hwang Yeji for 3 years

Never opened Chaeryeong's letter

Marshal Kim:

Deceased

Lung cancer returned, she couldn't be spared

Rest in Power, Marshal Kim

Lia:

Became the new marshal for the Tokyo base

Has been married for 7 years with one daughter named Serena and a son named Yeong-cheol

Yeji:

Main designer for most jaegers that get deployed

Married

Stationed back in Tokyo after Ryujin became a pilot

Raising an adopted baby girl with Ryujin, named Athena

Chaeryeong:

Deceased

Her letter and original rank necklace lay at her resting place in the Tokyo base memorial

Gone, but forever found in the drift

Rest in Peace, Pilot Lee

In regards of my next Ryeji book I have two options.

Option 1 is kinda dark probably a 7/10. It's about Ryujin having a crush on a girl at school, but ends up falling for her twin instead. I don't wanna spoil too much about this one, but there is murder and gang violence involved. It's a bit like a high school love story. This is named Nervous.

Option 2 is very dark, probably the darkest story I've written. It's my first tragedy and it's based on the bullying in South Korea schools. It's not romanticizing bullying. It's like the bully and her victim falling for one another but no one else can know. This story is probably a 9.5/10 on the dark scale. This is named Ubi Amor, Ibi Dolor (Latin for Where There is Love, There is Pain).
