You knock the door not knowing who will answer .

You take a step into the house .
" Y/N ? What are you doing here ? Don't tell me you brought you're brother with you ?!"
You stand in the hall way taking everything in and ignoring Georgie .
" Hello , I'm Lucy Carlyle "
A small build girl stand in front of you holding a hand out to shake it .
" Y/N kipps "
You shake her hand while giving her a little smile .
" are you Lockwoods girlfriend then ?"
You ask while looking her up and down .
" oh god No ! I'm with Georgie as I heard you call him "
She looks at you with almost disgust.
You turn on your heels and go to the kitchen .
You seem him stood there making what looks like toast .
" I'll take a cuppa with 2 sugars please Locky "
He turns to look at you and a smile appears on his face and then he finally moves , walking towards you and then embarrasses you in a hug .
" what are you doing here ? You know Kipps is not gonging to be happy about you visiting !"
He lets you go and starts putting the kettle on .
" are you kidding me ! Have you forgotten what today is Locky ?"
You frown at him and he looks at you very puzzled and then like magic it clicks in his head .
" Y/N I am so sorry I completely forgot ... Happy birthday my .. umm won't you stay for dinner ?"
" yes I'll stay for dinner and I'll stay for awhile maybe ? I want to keep my promise "
The promise , the promise you made to each other . If Lockwood started his own company you would always have a place in it and you promised you would join him on your 15th birthday... he's only a year older then you at this point .
" I hate to say I forgot about our promise .
But it still stands . How did Kipps take it ? "
He stands looking at you with a look of worry .
" well I haven't actually told him yet , I just left . He will probably be here soon to try and take me back ."
You look to the floor scared of how Lockwood would respond.
" Lucy Georgie , get in here "
Lockwood shouts and just like that they appear , they probably stood outside the kitchen door listening in on you and Lockwood .
" Lucy I'm sorry but the attic bedroom is no longer available to rent , you'll have to finally move into Georgie's room .
I hope that's alright Georgie ?"
Lockwood looks at you with an it's okay look.
" yes I suppose that's okay seeing as she pretty much lives in my room anyway "
Lucy stands there almost in shock .
" that's sorted Y/N where your bags ? "
He looks to you then beside you with confusion.
" I don't have any of it with me ... I need to go shopping really . And it is my birthday after all "
You say while smiling at Lockwood .
" I'll get my keys and coat then "
He says while walking past you to the front door .
" just do you know Y/N you won't make it here . Georgie just told me about this promise you two made a couple of years ago . He can never truly love someone"
Lucy looks at you with a bitter look of rage .
" lockwood could never truly love someone else you mean . He's loved me for years ... I'm like his little sister "
You again turn on your heels and quickly make your way to the front door .
" let's go shopping then "
Lockwood hates shopping .
