66. Friend?

I shouldn't have left her in the house on her own but I have to think of the company.
I have to think about Lucy and Georgie.
They had been working all the cases on there own.
Lucy had practically been running the company for me and my god she been doing a good job.

The case was easy.
Over within a hour or so.
All I could think about was getting home to Y/A.
Holding her.
I missed her more then I usually did.

The taxi pulled up outside the house.
It looked still inside.
I know she'll be asleep.
She needs sleep after what she's been through.

Walking through the front door I could hear 2 voices.
One of them Y/N.
The other I'm not sure of yet.
Looking behind me to see Lucy and Georgie both preparing for what was behind the kitchen door.
Slowly walking towards the kitchen door.
Looking back once more.
Lucy and Georgie both giving a small tilt of there heads letting me know they are ready.

I took a deep breathe.
Pushing the door open and walking in.
Seeing Y/N just sat at the kitchen table.
A phone in the middle of the table.
She hung the phone up.
Looking at the three of us.
" who was that?"
I ask.
" a friend"
She says while getting up from the table and walking up to me.
She wrapped her arm around my neck and pulled me into a kiss.
" I missed you Locky"
She wrapped her arms around my body.
She hasn't been like this in a few days.
Loving.

We all took our places around the kitchen table.
Lucy and Georgie explaining the case to Y/N.
I watched her.
She seems at ease.

" I have something to tell you all.
I know how we are going to get Aurora back."
The words that came from her lips like music to my ears but at the same time I worry.
I worry she's getting her hopes up.
" how !"
Lucy nearly jumps of her seat.
Georgie grabbing a note pad and pen.

" who was here Y/N.
There's 2 cups in the skink.
Who's been here."
I say now getting up from the table and walking to the skink.
Not looking at her or the others.

" a friend came to see me."
Is all she said.
" WHO Y/N ! WHO WAS HERE ! "
I feel the anger build up inside of me.
Slamming my fists onto the kitchen table.
Watching her jump slightly.

" Flo.
She knows where our child is.
We have a plan to get her back"
