I feel like I've been hit with a fucking bat 30 times over the head,,,
I slowly opened my eyes to hear someone sitting up.
"Ugh– wait, Kris..? Is that you..?"

I squinted slightly before realizing who that was.
That was Susie.
God she looks hot.
"AGH! WHY THE HELL AM I GREEN?! AND... WHY ARE YOU BLUE?" she asked. "I'm blue?" I asked. "Yeah.. and you look like some sorta cool knight," she looked down at herself. "Damn. I look sick too."
"How about we just both get up and try to find– wait... where's Jupes?" I looked around. Susie look around and then looked into the darkness.
"Um... what if they fell... uh- down there?" she asked. "There's no damn way she did," I looked at her.
We both stared at each other in silence until we both scrambled over the edge to see if they might've fallen down there.
"Yeesh... that's a... that's a very deep fall, but maybe they woke up earlier than us! And started setting off!" she punched my arm.
I rubbed the spot before noticing my arms and armor had heart and marigold stickers on them. I smiled slightly as I noticed Susie poking at one of the stickers as we sat there in silence.
"You're really interested in that sticker aren't you?" I chuckled. "It's cool!! I want stickers..." she sulked. "I can make some for you when we get back," I got up, reaching out my hand to help her up. "Heh, you better," she smiled.
We walked a little before we found a little white star off the edge of the cliff.
I drew towards it, my head blocking out any other sound and I touched it.

"KRIS!" I snapped out of it. Susie was holding my wrist tightly, tears slightly forming in her eyes. "..Suz..?" I turned toward her. She wiped her face with her arm and looked away.
"Forget about that, okay? I just.. nevermind."
I felt a little guilty for worrying her... or.. scaring her. I'm not even sure what happened myself.
"I'm sorry for worrying you like that... I'm not even sure what happened. It all felt like a daze, but it showed me we could save with the star. Like a video game. Only I can do it though," I explained.
