Lex
At first I wasn't sure about having a bunch of civilians coming out with us, but they wanted blood. The fight breaks out after we kill three men from the shadows, and the rest of the gang realizes we were there. The group of people with us though, they rush the members, and we shoot at them when there's an opening. What a sight it is to see every day looking people absolutely go crazy on some gang members.
Some do get hurt in the chaos of everything, Doctor Tucker and Seb were right there for them though. When we get the place mostly cleared, Mato radios North to move in ASAP. We got the kids out of that house and into the pizza place, none of us wanted them walking around in the open. We made it the hub where everyone was gathered if they weren't going around the compound making sure there was no one hiding in the shadows.
Which is what Nattie and I were doing. We were going down the hall of the motel to go double check the rooms the members used. I assumed none of the members would be in the rooms, because of all the shit happening, but better safe then sorry. Nattie goes into the room first, a found gun in her hands and she sweeps the room with it. The rooms are dark, a hall light and a window being the only things lighting the room. She turns to where the bathroom would be, I make a quick lap around the room as she comes out.
"I didn't think there would be anyone here."
"We have a few more rooms to check." She points out and I throw her a smile.
"Want to fool around when were done?" I ask. She steps up to me, looks up at me and my eyes drop to her pouty lips.
"Fool around?" She asks me. "What are you 80?"
I lean forward bringing my eyes up to hers, an inch away from her mouth. "I have great stamina for being 80. Wanna push how far I can go?"
We hadn't gotten any alone time after we left Brandy. We were always busy, and I've only been in her bed too sleep. I'm sure we could be fast enough that the rest of the guys wouldn't notice that we were gone that long. As much as I'd like to take my time with her, the thought of fucking her here with all the shit going on and the chance of being caught is a huge turn on.
Nattie's hand comes up to cup my chin, beautiful eyes on my face, and I feel a stab of something through my heart... wait, not my heart.
My back.
Natalie
"I have great stamina for being 80. Wanna push how far I can go?" He says and I give him a little smile, his eyes go from my lips to my eyes, he wants alone time but I'm not sure we should. Even though its oh so tempting. I reach up to run my hand along his cheek that's rough with a bit of stubble. He started to lean forward more and for a second, I think he's going to kiss me. His face just goes past mine. His body falls onto mine and then it jerks.
I look past him and every bone in my body tenses as I see a strange man, who is trying to grab Lex's gun from the strap. My hand finds my own gun and I shoot him without processing what is happening. The mans body drops with a thud as my legs give out under Lex's weight. My knees hit the ground and my arms wrap around his waist, that's when I feel it.
The thing sticking out of his lower back.
"Nattie?" Oh god he was still conscious but there was something in his back, his body was limp. The thing in his back.. when I press around it my hands were meet with hot liquid and I heard a cry. Not from Lex, from my own throat.
I manage to move him to his side, his eye lids flutter and I feel like I was stabbed. No, this couldn't be happening. He was just flirting and joking around. I reach behind him to the bed and pull the blanket off, instinct guiding me to rip it up to press to his wound.
"Oh god, oh god." I chant and feel something run down my face. I wipe at it with the back of my hand, the back of my hand was wet. I was crying. I was crying, I was going into panic and for the first time in my life, I scream for help.
