Part 3 - A goddess who can Create Miracles

Tsunades POV

Akira returned with my breakfast

She had brought me a traditional Japanese breakfast of rice, miso soup and chicken breasts at the side. It looked delicious. 

And the only reason I trusted her with my food was because ill know if it isn't right with just a sniff.

Well anyway I thought it was about time I got to know her powers better.

However before I could proceed shizune my most trusted assistant entered.

Good morning tsunade sama ! She said after which she noticed akiras presence

 
Good morning shizune. This is akira I told u abt her earlier right? She'll be acting as my second assistant from now along with you. I hope you can instruct her some of the small things later.

"Oh I see, of course I will, nice to meet u Akira, Im shizune tsunade sama's assistant"

"Nice to meet you too" akira replied trying to put a bit of emotion into her usual dry tone but that dint make much of a difference

"Well do call if u need me tsunade sama, ill be going then" she left as i nodded in acknowledgement

"Well akira I was about to say is Id like to know a bit more about your powers and you position as a protector if you dont mind, sit down again, please."

Akira obeyed as I said

 
I started "so im still not pretty sure abt ur situation yet, I did a pretty risky thing agreeing to this deal without getting much information"

"It looks like u sure did tsunade sama"

"You think so too?"

"Well, yes ofc bringing a complete stranger into the village knowing she has immense power, without even having gained the slightest trust in her is a very risky thing to do."

I smiled "Yeap thats what the village council thinks too. The village elders are not happy with my decision. But im good at keeping them at bay. Not for long thogh we need to show them that your helping the village."

"Shouldnt be too much of a problem." Came her reply as confident as ever

"yes we will hope that for now, moving on I wanted to ask you. What exactly is a protector of olympus?"

"In the world of greek gods, The gods may have children with mortals, humans that is , these children are called demigods. Demigods can be very powerful depending on who their parent god is. The ones of the top three gods are the most powerful, however they are under great danger as well. Danger from monsters who live to hunt and kill demigods. " 

I nodded for her to continue 

Us protectors do not have the blood of gods, we are also just mortals who can die if fate comes to it. But weve been hand selected by the gods to protect olympus and demigods from evil foe and monsters. We are trained for around 3-4 months rigorously before entering the field. Also, this job isnt forced, we can leave it if we ever feel to do so for any reason. The gods will let us go without a question after erasing our memories. Its a secretive job so nobody in our families, she took a brief pause but continued or friends know that we're protectors. Thats about sums it up I think."

"Okay..." I  took a min to take that in, this seem pretty far fetched so far fetched in fact that I just cant think that it could be made up."

Akiradint say anything prompting me to continue

"Alright I see to understand the situation.....i'd like to ask however, are all protectors as powerful as u, Orion did say ur even more powerful than me." I said as i gave her a thoughtful eye

"No. There are actually a few who are even more powerful then me but they are much older, some are as powerful as me but again they're much older, and most are a little less powerful than you. So id say normally protectors have would have a little less power than a kage."

I noticed she used the word kage "You know about the kages now? Oh wait right, you did your hw" I realised she had already done all the research she needed to, maybe even more than necessary after hearing her next comment.

"Yes ofc, I know pretty much everything about the shinobi world of yours. Ive also heard rumours about an organisation called akatsuki, I assume thats why im here isnt it?"

"How did you know?" I asked sternly "nobody is supposed to know abt it till now"

"As i said, heard a few ppl talking abt it. Does it matter though? You said till now, that means they will know sooner or later wont they ?"

I tried to ease a bit " i mean yes they will but it will cause a ruckus in the village and that would cause a ruckus  to me."

"Makes sense."

"Well lets leave that aside for now. I would like to see your powers now. On full display. Lets go to training ground 16."

"Alright. Also I had to ask, why were people looking at me and calling me ... 'the goddess who can create miracles' ??

"Ha ! Dont worry abt that, its the work of Gai and lee most likely, itll wear off."  I said as I walked out of my office with the confused teen behind me.
