Konoha's Protector

Part 21 A start.

Kakashi, Akira and Shizune with Tsunade in her office.

"So, im assuming Akira found you while returning from her mission to the capital and decided to help?" Tsunade looked at kakashi

"Yes, exactly. We found the enemy base at the foot of the forest." He explained

After giving her all the details about the mission, tsunade sighed, finding herself in yet another tough situation.

"Yeah, this is becomjng a problem. We can take the measures to provide security incase the village itself is attacked, but if our ninja get attacked outside the village we cant do mich until its almost too late. Ok, ill look into how we can control this situation as soon as possible." She said ensuring that the situation will be taken care of.

"For now, you can go, well done on the mission Kakashi, Akira. Thankyou both.
Shizune, please go get checked at the hospital."

Shizune reluctantly agreed and left along with Kakashi. Akira however decided to stay back.

"What is it Akira?" Tsunade asked

"Well, i wanted to offer you an option about this situation. If you instructed all ninja to simple say my name out loud if anything happened to them or their subordinates, i will receive the signal and can notify you immediately." She said

"What, you can actually do that?" Tsunade asked in disbelief

"Yes, however they must be in a 10 km radius from the village and say it out loud." She explained

"Thats still better than nothing, plus they are more likely to get attacked nearby anyway." Tsunade thought

"Ok! Ill take this up immediately and send out word for the same. Thanks Akira."

"No problem. Ill take my leave then." Akira said with a bow as she turned to leave

"Akira." Tsunade added before she left

Akira turned around

Tsunade smiled and said "Thank you, for everything you've done. You've really saved me several times already."

Akiras only visible eye widened, only slightly, as she felt a tinge of fear hearing tsunades kind words.

"Of course, your welcome." She managed to say before she left in a haste.

"Thats odd... ive never seen her react that way before. Was it because i was too nice?" Tsunade thought confused.

With Kakashi and Shizune

"Come on, ill walk you to the hospital." Kakashi offered

"Oh, you dont have to-" shizune began

"Its no big deal, i dont have anything else to do anyway." Kakashi interjected.

As they both walked toward the hospital shizune explained to Kakashi about why she and tsunade had had an argument which led her to getting distracted and eventually kidnapped.
