Part 17 Distrust

While Akira was travelling.
At Konoha

There was a knock at Tsunades door
"Come in"

The tall figure of shizune walked in
"Tsunade sama?"

"Yes?" Tsuande said looking up from a pile of documents

"I just saw some corps members pass by with bumps on their heads.....so im assuming u met with them?"

"Oh yeah....i did ." With annoyance

"So.....did you find out how it got misplaced?" Asked shizune

"Well not exactly....they said it was overlooked when a letter from the sand showed up at around the same time."

"Oh I see. Well i was wondering how youve begun to trust akira so much.....isnt it too early..."

Tsunade sighed

"I told you already shizune.....whether i trust her or not, it really dosent matter at this point.."

"What do you mean?" She asked

"It dosent matter because even if she isnt who she says she is, even if she isnt trustworthy, she can take this entire village down alone even with every single shinobi against her. So the only choice i have is to trust her, and anything otherwise really wont help. Even with anbu around her she can get any information she needs confidential or not with ease. So really there is no point." Tsunade explained

"But, then that means if she inst trustworthy, the entire village ..." she dint have to finish

Tsunade had started to get annoyed

"Yes. But that wont happen. Because i trust her shizune. I trust Akira."

"But Tsunade sama- i heard she found out about the hyuga clans jutsu and even defeated neji hyuga with his own technique....isnt that a bit too much.....shes researching on jutsus and chakra....people arent how they seem to be sometimes....."

"Its not like i forbade her or anything.....and its something every other person in the leaf is allowed to do.....furthermore it only proves my point. And if iv given her the leaf village headband that means shes a leaf shinobi.....if we start treating her like an outsider its not gonna do much to help her fit in....." Tsunade explained

"Ik but is letting someone roam around freel-"

"DID I NOT ALREADY TELL YOU WELL ENOUGH! ITS GREAT I HAVE 3 ELDERS ON MY TAIL CONTINUOUSLY BUT NOW YOU TOO! IM SORRY BUT I CANT EXPLAIN SOMETHING YOU WONT TRY TO UNDERSTAND,NOW LEAVE ME ALONE I HAVE WORK TO DO!"
Tsunade yelled irritably, she had tried explaining nicely but apparently that wasnt working.

"Y-yes!" Shizune exclaimed quickly as she scrambled outside and shut the door

Shizune sighed
A tinge of sadness and jealousy spreading through her heart

...

Later that evening

"Maybe i was to hard on her....." tsunade sighed

...

Shizune was strolling around the village with ton ton.

She decided to go towards the deserted part of the village near the forest, it had a beautiful view of the sky

There was no one near by.

She sat down against a tree and looked up at the sky and sighed

" Is it really my fault that im not trusting her.....how can you trust someone so easily?" Shizune sighed out loud

"Oink oink."

Shizune gave a small smile

"You understand me right ton ton?"

"Ooooink."

"Hmm, i just don't t understand why Tsunade sama is being so trusting, that isnt like her, and Akira... she seems respectful enough but .."

"Oink oink."

"Or maybe Im the one being unreasonable......"

Shizune was confused

But part of her knew the distrust came cos of the tinge of jealousy she felt when she realised a 15 year old girl just walked in and became her masters second assistant. Just like that. She had been with her for years.

"Ugh, im the just pathetic arent I? Being so immature..."

Shizune wasnt in the best mood, distracted by all the negative thoughts.

It was too late when she realised the danger creeping up from behind.

A cloth wrapped around her mouth and someone forced her hands behind preventing her to use them. Soon enough she was completely immobile.

She tried to scream.

Her cries reached no one.

Ton ton was startled and decided to run away to get help.

She knew it was a cloth laced with a sleeping potion.

She couldn't hold her breath too long,

And slowly the world faded and her eyes shut, faintly hearing snickers and laughter.
