" a Dwarven pickaxe? I've never heard of such a thing I mean in all my years of research, and my time at the College of Winterhold I've never heard of such an item existing." Asadelf said with her interest greatly peaked as she walked over to examine it as well. " It could be because the Dwemer disappeared before they could fully develop it, but they had the basic principles down right here if I can figure out how to fill in the last pieces of the puzzle this could provide the secret to mining aethereum" Gentu replied as Asadelf looks. " it would appear that the Dwemer were trying to customize an enchantment for it too. Apparently to make it five times more efficient than the normal capacity." Asadelf said thoughtfully as she pointed to the Arcane runes on the top half of the schematic. " All right let's take this with us let's check out the bent Tower that we passed on our way here." The group nodded as they made one final sweep around the debate Hall looking for anything else that could be of help regarding the schematic. " Hey, Gentu, what is this thing?" Asked Sabrina as she held up a cube.

" Sabrina where did you find that?!" Gentu exclaimed as he rushed over

" Sabrina where did you find that?!" Gentu exclaimed as he rushed over. And carefully took it from Sabrina examining it closely. " Gentu what is it? I've never seen one of these before." Sabrina said as she thoroughly examined it as well. " Sabrina this is called a lexicon and from the looks of it it's blank, and what a lexicon is, to put it simply they are practically described as an entire library of knowledge compressed into a single cube. so rather than carrying about a whole collection of books that can be worn or damaged like these ruined books here, this holds the collective knowledge contained within a whole library without the risk of the wear and tear from traveling." Gentu explained. " So how does it help us if it's blank?" Asked Myra. " It means if we can get this to the transcriber that's down here in Blackreach where I've had to go before to transcribe a lexicon for Septimus Signus, I can transcribe the knowledge of the schematic onto the Lexicon itself and possibly decipher the rest of it which would greatly speed our project up tenfold," Gentu said as he took the blank lexicon into his satchel that he had draped over his shoulder along with his Mage backpack. " The rest of us searched and we couldn't find anything else but whatever we did find that looked like it would fit with the schematic or at least have something to do with it we put on this table for you to look at seeming how you're the Dwemer buff of the group." Said Yamma as Gentu walked over and looked through the Dwarven pieces and papers and the old, ruined books finding nothing that they could use he gave the news that the ruined books were completely intelligible with very few words being able to be deciphered. so, in the end, this was a complete dead end. the group nodded as they got ready to move out to the bent Tower they passed. Exiting the debate hall they walked out of the Dwarven City and started wandering through Blackreach in the direction of the bent Tower. After a few minutes of walking along the waterside of the lake an eerie yet irritating humming started to be heard as most of the group ended up covering their ears from the annoying sound specifically Gila who had hypersensitive hearing. " By the nine what in Oblivion is that accursed sound and where is it coming from!?" Gila yelled out in irritation as she had her ears covered letting out pained whimpers. " it kind of sounds like nirnroot but I don't think it grows down here, you guys wait here, and I'll go check it out." Asadelf said as she walked along the water's edge before seeing the cause of the irritating sound.
