It was the break of dawn when Gentu and Lianya headed south, southeast towards for dawnguard in order to join up with some of Gentu's old friends. After riding through dayspring canyon they noticed a commotion towards the front gate of the fort before Gentu spoke up. "Not another vampire attack, don't these vampires ever learn? Lianya anti vampire maneuver." Gentu said as Lianya pulled out Auriels bow before putting a sun hollowed arrow in the bow string before firing it up at the Sun causing beams of sunlight to rain down on the undead nuisances as she pulled out Auriels shield and Auriels sword as Gentu pulled off dawnbreaker from his hip and they charged forward. Gentu made quick work of the first two in front of him while Lianya rushed past shield bashing a master vampire and driving the tip of her sword through their eye as lianya cast ice cloak around herself causing enemies that got too close to her e to freeze as she smashed them with her foot. Just as a vampire caught her off guard and had her pinned and was about to bite Lianya's neck it was shot in the side of the head with a crossbow bolt that wasn't dwarven make as it turned to ash. Lianya looked up seeing a man jump from one of the high towers and land on the ground firing two more crossbow bolts out of a wooden crossbow with an oak shaft.

The man in question were a complete set of heavy dawnguard armor with the covered helmet pulling out the legendary dawnguard rune shield and dawnguard rune axe.
