The whole entire group sat there listening intently before Tully spoke up. "So the two of you actually spotted a dragon priest, a live dragon priest like not one of those undead lichs?" Tully asked wanting to make sure that he understood the entirety of the situation that was described through them. "Indeed he was, and he incinerated a Thalmor agent like he was a piece of paper, and then used a shout and became a literal three-headed Golden dragon." Gentu said confirming as he sat with his arms crossed deep in thought. "While that is indeed a concern, I'm more curious about these two fighters that you mentioned, you said you fought alongside them were you able to gauge their skill and trustworthiness?" Ebon-shi asked sitting with his elbows resting on the table and his fingers intertwined with one another. "Indeed the one is named Bowen he's a former vigilant of Stendarr and apparently was the only one to survive the attack on the hall of the vigilant, and the other one is named Vladbram he's the son of the leader of the dawnguard." Gentu spoke as Myra spoke up. "Yes I know Bowen, he is a good guy and a very dutiful to his job however he tends to leave himself open a little too much, I remember we were doing a job regarding a cult of daedra worshipers sometime ago back when I was with the vigilant and the fool accidentally threw his hammer and it almost hit me." Myra said in an annoyed manner crossing her arms as she ate a sweet roll. "And what of the other one, the son of the leader of the dawnguard what's he like?" Ebon-shi asked taking a sip of wine from a tankard then carefully setting it down on the table. "Well I haven't met him until today, but I could tell by the way he fought that he is very brave but just like Bowen he could use some more practice but he did take on a Thalmor Justicer by himself before his father stepped in. As for their skill and trustworthiness I believe they have a lot of potential and could be a great benefit to us if we were to accept them into our fold, however their skill at present needs work but I believe against our undead adversaries that we may come across having two more individuals who are experts at wiping them out could be useful and could solve a lot more problems, I didn't tell them yes they could or no they couldn't join up with us I told him that I would send the message to you and then we would talk about it I explained that we made our decisions as a group." Gentu said giving a report about what happened with Lianya confirming it. "Okay I think I understand the situation, what about any loot, did you manage to pick up anything?" Myra asked taking a drink of milk from a cup and sitting it aside. "Indeed, twenty sets of elven and glass armor along with weapons of the same make, along with a unique set of elven armor the like of which I haven't seen before, as well as one of the long lost items from the era of the nerevarine, magebane." Gentu said presenting the legendary crystalline greatsword to the group setting it on the table. "I would advise that the unique set of armor as well as magebane should be put in the vault to keep it out of the wrong hands." Asadelf said thoughtfully with her hand on her chin thinking thoughtfully. "I'm quite interested in this dragon priest character as well, did you ever get his name, or see what kind of armaments he had?" Severin asked looking up while twirling the blade of woe in his fingers looking up with a serious expression. "He was armed with a black dragon priest staff unlike the goldish ones we seen before he also had a blades katana on his hip but it looked different from the one Myra has, he also had a dragon priest dagger on his hip." Gentu said but the mention of the blades katana caught Myra's interest before she spoke up. "Did it have a dragon visage carved into the sheath?" She asked with a serious expression on her face as Lianya nodded. "Yeah it did, it looked like a dragons head with two swords crossed behind it." Lianya said as Myra answered immediately. "The swords name is dragonbane, it came from the ancient blades when they were dragon slayers and actually competent." Myra said with a furrowed brow recollecting when she met two of the last blades Delphine and Esbern, upon meeting Delphine she immediately despised her she didn't mind Esbern though. "Okay so either the dragon priest is working with the blades and was given the sword by Delphine, or he took it from Sky Haven Temple and laid waste to it. I wouldn't mind either way." Myra said lightly rubbing the Temple of her head in aggravation just thinking about Delphine was giving her a migraine. "Very well, while you are taking the armor and weapons to get pawned send a letter to them let him know I will meet with them at a designated place away from here, until I know they can be trusted we will not bring them here until they earn it. Is everybody in agreement or have anything to add?" Ebon-shi asked giving the others a chance to voice their concerns or opinions before making a decision. Tully, Serana, and Gila spoke up separately having a very valid concern regarding the potential new recruits professions. "What if Vladbram attacks me and Serana for being vampires." Tully asked as Gila followed up. "And what if the vigilant attacks me because I'm a Lycanthrope?" Both being very reasonable questions and concerns that could affect the unity of the team. "In such a case it would be best that they know right from the start so they aren't surprised therefore when we go to the designated meeting place Tully, Serana, and Gila should be present this way they can get to meet them as individuals and then hopefully it will be enough to put them at ease, however should they attack they must be made aware that we will defend ourselves if necessary." Ebon-shi said as the group continued discussing the course of action before coming to a consensus and deciding to make the meeting place none other than Forelhost since the place was already cleared out and they had a bird's-eye view of their surroundings and if they arrived first they would have home field advantage. "Okay so it will be me, Tully, Serana, Myra, Sabrina, Gila, Gentu, and Lianya. And on our way there we can stop by Riften and pawn off the weapons and armor while we are there killing two birds with one stone." Ebon-shi said as the group dispelled after they ate dinner they went off to do their respective jobs, first taking priority was taking the unique elven armor and magebane into the vault for safekeeping. The vault wasn't an actual vault however it did have a gate blocking it which had a very unique enchantment on it which would repel any magic used on it which made it impossible for someone to break into it not to mention it was directly next to the forge which allowed a clear line of sight to the resident blacksmiths when they were working and the key was kept in a very special place that only the members of the group knew and thanks to Shadow-step's guidance they modified the vault door to be completely lockpick proof. Inside were multiple mannequins which housed different sets of armor along with the display cases which house a variety of unique weapons and powerful artifacts. After setting the armor on one of the mannequins and placing magebane inside an empty display case and locking it. Once it was firmly locked behind the vault and sealed Gentu and Yamma started enhancing the weapons and armor too beyond normal standards carefully Gentu sharpened and honed the weapons and armor while Yamma got to work making more weapons and armor to be sold. But due to the nature of the weapons and armor he primarily made elven and glass armor and weapons passing the new weapons and armor over to Gentu who masterfully enhanced them. After they were finished making and enhancing the weapons and armor Gentu then took a cart and wheeled it over to the enchanting room where Asadelf and Lianya who provided the enchantments on them allowing them to be sold for a much higher price. The enchantments on the armor ranged from health, magic, and stamina buffs along with the occasional fortify light armor. As for the weapons it would range from absorb health, absorb magica, absorb stamina, along with fire, frost, or shock damage and on the random one every once in awhile they would add either paralyze, soul trap, or chaos damage. The enchantments were made even more powerful courtesy of Sabrina who made masterful fortify enchantment potions as she carefully placed them on the table and went over to her alchemy room to get back to making more potions ranging from restore health, magic, or stamina, but the most popular ones were fortified carry weight which were especially coveted by the khajiit caravans as Sabrina's potions had a very good reputation especially among the khajiit traders. Once the enchantments were done they were all taken out to the main room where Myra and Sabrina writing on a piece of paper making an estimate of income coming into their pockets from such a vast arsenal of pawnable items working in an efficient and orderly manner to anyone watching it would become clear that the group's teamwork was absolute on point. It wasn't long before they had finished their respective job as Sabrina was the math buff of the two however due to a recent scenario they have been talking about Myra had been practicing her mathematics as well in the event that Sabrina couldn't be there to help and the knowledge that this would make her a better saleswoman would only increase her arsenal of silver tongue tricks. Meanwhile Gila was in the kitchen making more of her meat rations to share with the newcomers during the meeting the next day after all one can't enjoy a meeting on an empty stomach and whether they joined or not it's always good to have a meeting with good food as her mother once said. And if there was one thing Gila remembered fondly of her mother was her belief of any situation becoming better over a good meal and a good company. She had finished making the fried horker jerky from what was left of the horker meat so it didn't go to waste and carefully wrapped them up in a basket before carefully placing it in the makeshift freezer made out of a large wooden chest which was converted with the help of Lianya into a freezer. By having Lianya freeze the inside and outside of the chest avoiding the hinges and freezing the outside, inside and the lid, it would trap the cold air in and keep meat fresh for a long time rather than out in the open. Meanwhile in the training area Severin was training with his new kamas switching from using them as close range weapons to attaching the chain turning them into a kusarigama and throwing the weighted chain at the test dummy as it wrapped around the dummies neck and he yanked it over to him as he embedded the other kama in its head. He continued to practicing with his new weapons for another hour or so before everyone of the group had went to bed to wake up at first light the following day since almost half the group would be out retrieving the new bloods, that left Asadelf, Severin, Shadow-step, Suvvan, Yamma, and Salazar to stay at the base and keep it safe and guarded. Once everyone had gone to bed after of course setting up the proximity alarm that would inform them if anyone got close. Ebon-shi sat down in his and Asadelf's shared bedroom as he carefully put his armor on the armor stand and his weapons on the weapon racks before laying down next to his beloved. "Hey hun, how are you feeling?" Asadelf asked as she finished putting her ebony spell knight armor on the armor stand on her side of the bed leaning all of her staffs up against the wall and laying down next to him. "I'm doing fine, I'm still a little sore but your physical therapy has been working slowly but surely, I had Sabrina make me a painkiller for tomorrow I'll take that before we leave tomorrow to go meet them." Ebon-shi said as his altmer lover leaned over and laid her head on his chest and rubbing her arm around him. Smiling at her embrace he laid his head back and closed his eyes going to sleep his mind racing with anticipation and anxiety at what the next day would bring.
