Getting into the car to go to school, I pull out my new airpods and put some music on.
As we pull up into the school parking lot I take one airpod out, but leave the other one in, knowing that I won't be able to control my anxious breathing if I don't just keep focusing on the music.
"Hey sweet-cheeks, you're looking stylish today" Luke says with his usual cocky grin.

"I'm going to go to my class" I whisper to my brothers
"I'll walk you" Jackson says grabbing his backpack from off the ground.
"No" I say all too quickly.
"Um, I-I have to go to the bathroom first, so I'll just go by myself" I say awkwardly as I start walking back.
"What's wrong with her?" I hear Jackson ask Ace.
"She's on her period" I hear Axel say. What the heck Axel?
"oh" is the last thing I hear from their friends.
I walk into the bathroom and go into a stall where I then grab the hidden shiny razor in my backpack and roll up my sleeve. I think about all the trauma that came back up last night all from that little nickname. I didn't get even a bit of sleep last night since every time I closed my eyes I would see him.

I then pull down my sleeve back down and pull down my pants as I try to push back the flashbacks of John doing the same. I sit on the toilet and bring the sharp blade to my skin on my thigh.

I quickly grab some toilet paper and dab on my cuts to soak up some of the blood. I them quickly pull my pants up and wash my hands before leaving to my class.
Luckily that bell was only to signify that there is 5 minutes before class starts, but I was hoping to beat the crowd.
As soon as I find my first period English class, I sit down in my usual seat towards the back of the classroom and against the wall.
Finally the bells rings and the teacher comes in holding a large stack of books. "Ok class, today we will be starting the reading of The Awakening, but first lets start with free reading."
10 minutes into free reading my book, the classroom door gets slammed open and incomes Jackson, Luke, and...Blake?
"Yo Mrs. White, I swear we tried to be on time, but my boi here happened to come back so I had to meet up with him first" Luke says while patting Blakes shoulder with a cocky grin.
