Tsubaki And Vhynn's Story

Chapter 6

I watched as her parents eyes lit up, taking in their daughter for the first time in a long while. To see her suddenly grow up and mature before their very eyes.

"Hi April, it's been about 8 years now hasn't It." said their Mother, smiling sadly.

April stood there, speechless. A few moments passed before she finally got out her words, "a whole 8 years?"

"8 years, 2 months and 9 days" answered the dad, "we remembered the exact day it happened. So much has changed since then April. You've grown up so much, you've become the beautiful woman we always knew you would be" April started to cry as her dad reached out and wiped away the tears.

"I missed you guys" she cried harder as she squeezed my hand.

Star was helping me to eat the food the nurse had brought in while Vhynn and April went in the hall to talk with their parents.

"Say 'ahhhh'" she said smirking at my helpless-ness.

"Shut up" I glared at her kiddingly then opening my mouth for the bite of rice.

"Gosh, I missed you so much Star!!!!" I sighed, looking out the window. "It's so great to have you here, but... Are you staying?" I tried my best not to let her see the tears building in my eyes.

"Honey, actually" she said looking at me, smiling apologetically. I could already tell what she was about to ask.

"Of course you can stay with me" I smiled at her, happy to have her here with me.

She smiled back at me, and then looked at me seriously. "Now while I'm there, I'll make sure you and Vhynn use protection while-" my face tuned bright red in a matter of moments as I realized what she was getting at.

"N-no!!!! Were nowhere near that stage!!!!" my heart beat out of control over the monitor at the mention of sex.

She laughed at me and shook her head at me, as if knowing better than me.

"Not yet! I saw how heated that kiss he gave you was, sweetie, he is all over you" she said winking at me playfully.

I buried my face in my hands out of embarrassment. I heard a chuckle come from Star. "You are so lucky" she sighed, looking far away.

I immediately knew there was something she wasn't telling me.

"What's the matter Star?" concern edging my voices, making it sound loud in the silence of the room.

"well, there's th-" she said, stopping when Vhynn stepped in, taking my hand in his as my heart sped up when his lips brushed up against them.

Vhynn looked at Star realizing he interrupted something. "Oh, sorry should I leave?" he said looking back and forth between us, "could you-"

I started but Star cut me off. "No, it's okay. I'll just tell her later. After all, we'll be spending a LOT of time together" she said laughing.

Vhynn looked at me confused and waited for me to explain. "She's moving in with me" his eyes widened then he smiled deviously, "you know you'll have to be quieter now?" he nuzzled my neck playfully making the monitor beat wildly.

Heat filled my face as I answered, "I-I, we aren't-" I looked back and forth between Vhynn and Star knowing they were enjoying my embarrassment.

They looked at one another and high-fived.

I sighed and turned to look at Vhynn, "Did you need something honey?" I said poking his tummy giggling. He made a quick face at me and glanced at the door.

"Me and my family are gonna go out, spend some time with April." I nodded my head, not exactly happy with the idea of having to share my Prince, but I knew I had to.

"Go" I pushed him softly towards the door.

The nurse came into the room and told Star I needed to rest as she injected something into my arm, pulling me into an empty sleep.

Me and Star walked home from the hospital as she supported me with her arm. "I'm so glad they finally discharged you!!!" she said angrily like an angry mother, "I mean seriously?! They kept you there for almost a week!!!! My poor TsuTsu" I laughed at her, "its fine Star I'm just glad to have that stupid tube out of me" I said glancing at the bandage on my wrist.

"I miss Vhynn" I said pouting involuntarily, Star nudged me trying her best to cheer me up. "You could always ask him to come over tonight?"

I shook my head as we walked along, "no can do, he has dinner out with them again. It's just weird not seeing him so often" I sighed, leaning my head on her.

We finally got home, and I found star had already situated herself there as I found anime posters all over my room wall, my pictures back up, and the whole house sparkled.

"Woooooow" I gasped, remembering how much this place was in ruins last time I saw it.

"Did you do this?!" I asked shocked.

"Well me and Vhynn" she said smiling slyly, then it hit me...

"Oh my GOSH!!!! No!!!!!" I shrieked praying she was kidding.

"Oh yes" she smiled again looking toward my bedroom. "We found your little lingerie collection in there, and may I say 'little'" she winked at me as I hid my face.

She chuckled softly, biting on her lip "Vhynn... Oh if only you saw how red Vhynn's face got when he found them"

I buried my face in my hands, trying to relax.

"I knew you guys were getting serious" she said nudging me playfully.

"Shut up" I said flopping onto my bed and gestured for her to sit.

"So what's the dealio with that Angel guy you've been drooling over?" I asked, waiting for the juicy details.

"Okay, well he's really sweet, and as I've told you before We have not done what TsuTsu and Vhynn have been up to" she said smirking at me as heat rushed to my face.

"Okay, well other than that" I tried to roll my eyes nonchalantly and more than likely failing, "have you realized you're in love with him yet?" I smiled knowingly.

"How'd you know?!" she asked shocked.

"Girl, Puuuh-lease!!!! It is written all over your face!!!!" I looked at her seriously, "But seriously, if you love him that much, why would you come here? I am fine by myself, though it's great to have you!" she hugged me and patted my back motherly.

"It's just, you're my best friend, and you'll always come before boys. You're like my Daughter!!!!" I laughed and pushed her away.

"Just go after him!" I patted her head.

She sniffled a little and hugged me, "he was gonna come along, but-" before she could finish a familiar song echoed throughout the room.

"Because you live and breathe~"

"hey I know this song!!!"

"Cuz of you, made it through every storm~"

"no way" I shrieked

Stars face began to turn red, and pointed toward her phone "Speak of the devil."

"because you make me believe in myself when no one else can~"

She picked up the phone, trying to calm her breathing. "Hello? Angel?" she smiled at me, mouthing to me "it's him!"

"what? I can't hear you?! Are those gun shots in the background?!?!" she said panicking slightly. "Angel!!!!" the phone began to beep loudly saying she got cut off.

"TsuTsu?!" she looked at me panicking.

"Sh, sh" I came to her side and patted her hand trying to comfort her.

Just then another call came from her phone, she picked it up immediately "Angel?!" she sighed quietly. And then hung up.

"Who was that?"

" I'll tell you after, but we need to get to hospital as soon as possible"
