Tsubaki And Vhynn's Story

Chapter 12

I watched as Vhynn hugged her back.

I felt something in my heart drop as I slowly fell, all I could hear was Star snapping as she saw her too.

"Oh, No you didn't Bitch!!!" she stomped towards her.

I grabbed her arm, "Star please" I tried to hide the tears falling and not let anyone see them.

Vhynn stood there, greeting the other girl, not even noticing me falling apart.

Nothing could have prepared me for this, I have never seen a girl so close to Vhynn. It hurt...

Everything began to blur around me as even the smiling face of my lover, disappeared.

I woke up to find a familiar face hovering above me, Vhynn's hand squeezed mine tightly.

"Your awake" he smiled at me, he had obviously been worried. Beside him sounded a light girly giggle, I turned my head slightly to see the girl who was hugging him earlier, sitting right beside him.

Jealousy coursed through my veins, I don't like her. Not one bit.

"Oh" said Vhynn, running a hand through his hair. Oh, really? Oh?! Right, like that's going to fix the fact that you hugged her!!!

"I forgot you two don't know one another, love, this is one of my best friends, Xi. Xi, this is my lover, Tsubaki."

I looked up at the girl beside him, she was about Star's height and looked about Cross's age.

Her hair was black, like ours, and in a pretty butterfly cut. She had on a cute cream blouse with black skinny jeans.

"It's nice to meet you" she smiled, my heart wanted to welcome her warmly, and be her friend, yet my mind said be wary.

"Nice to meet you" I smiled, deciding on at least Trying to be nice.

He looked back and forth between us and I saw a light red flush go across his cheeks, "Uhm... Due to some, technical difficulties... Xi is going to be staying with me at my house" I felt red hot fury building up in my chest, "She can stay with me!!!" I volunteered, not wanting her to spend any more extra time with Vhynn.

Vhynn sighed, "Actually I thought about that, but Star..." he said looking over at her and Angel.

"well this is awkward," she said looking down, "I was gonna tell you today at the party, but the little incident here-" she said glaring at Xi openly, "made this a bit rushed. Uhm, actually TsuTsu, I'm moving in with Angel. He got discharged today and asked me to move in" she glanced at Xi.

Vhynn spoke up, "It's fine though if Xi still wants to stay with me" then he looked at me and must have read my mind, "Can you guys leave me and Tsu to talk" the others left the room, but before that I saw Xi's hand linger on his arm a little longer then needed.

Vhynn's hand held mine and held me close, "Tsu, are you by any chance feeling threatened by Xi?"

I felt regret and guilt build up in my chest, feeling awful from thinking of his best friend badly.

"Tsu, are you?" he looked into my eyes, making me feel weak. I nodded unable to lie to him, "Tsu, please. Can you trust me on this, there's nothing going on between me and her. Besides I can only love you, you have my heart and no one can take that away from you" he hugged me to his chest as I breathed in his summery smell that I have always loved.

We intertwined our fingers as I looked up at him, "Okay, I trust you. But can she at least move in with me instead, I want to... Get to know her better" something in the back of my mind tugged at my heart, knowing that wasn't the reason why I wanted her with me and not him.

I couldn't stand the idea of her with him in his house all night long. Of another girl in his house before me.

Suddenly everyone was in the room with us, "-will be staying with Tsu" I heard, waking up from my gaze.

I walked over to Xi, holding a hand out to her, "I look forward to spending time with you"

"as for Star & Angel" I said, turning around to stare at them. "There better not be any dirty business going on in my house while your here, at least wait till you get home" I laughed. There were hugs all around, as we once more sat down to eat.

"To a new beginning!!!" we yelled as we clanked our glasses of Cider together.
