Tsubaki And Vhynn's Story

Chapter 18

"Then where have you been going?!" I screamed at him. Anger ebbing out if me.

"Tsu" he said calmly, reaching out to touch my hand, "please just trust me"

"No!! Tell me where you were" I yelled, pulling my hand away.

"If you were with another girl just tell me Vhynn, tell me and I'll leave. If you got bored of me, or don't love me anymore, just tell me. But please don't hide this from me" I said, tears threatening to roll down my face.

"Tsu" he said softly, taking my head in his hand, cupping the back of my neck softly as he drew me to his chest, and this time I didn't fight back.

"Please-" I hiccuped, "please just tell me"

He mumbled something unintelligible, as pulled me closer to him before letting me go, but still holding on tightly to my wrist.

"If you really want to know, then come with me. Trust me" he said, his voice shaking slightly. I could tell he was scared to.

I nodded my head a bit, as he dragged me outside under the cold winter nights sky's pulling me into a car that I had no clue we had.

"When did you-"

He cut me off, "I bought it, I had some money saved up as I thought it would be best to invest in a car"

I nodded in agreement as he pulled me into the silver Impala. He closed the door behind me and got into the drivers seat and drove a far way off.

When we finally stopped, we were Ina dark almost scary place, shadowed with many dark trees that seemed to loom over me.

"Vhynn?" I cried out in fear, as he let go off my hand, leaving me alone in the dark wilderness, unable to see any farther then a foot in front f me, when suddenly there was a flash of light, as if someone turned a switch, as the forest slowly became illuminated.

One by one the trees, the trees came to life, as lights began to glow, swirling around them, bringing light into the once dark forest, reflecting off the snow in the trees, and on the ground.

I looked around in marvel a smile slowly appearing on my face.

As I turned back around, I saw a sight that made y heart race, standing only a few feet away was Vhynn, snow beginning to melt in his black hair, as he smiled at me. Love filling his eyes.

I slowly came toward him, finding it hard to breath, words barely passing my lips.

"D-did you do this for me?" I breathed, in amazement.

"Yes" he smiled, taking my hand in his, as he began to kneel to the ground.

Tears erupted from my eyes, as a gasp left my lips. My other hand flew up to my mouth, trying to hold back the cries that were clawing their way out.

"Tsubaki Mei Iruishi, will you marry me?" His voice came out in a whisper as he reached into his pocket to pull out a tiny black box, inside it a tiny silver ring with intricate scrolls carved into the band, and in the middle was a beautiful small diamond.

"Yes" I cried out, leaning down to wrap my arms around his neck hugging tightly, "a million times yes!"

He pulled me up with him, and sat me in the snow, slowly putting the ring on my finger fitting perfectly. It was like everything, was meant to be.
