Tsubaki And Vhynn's Story

Chapter 14

"I can't believe I did that to her!!!" I screamed, my eyes closed tightly as I pounded my had against the closest thing to me, not caring, hitting it harder and harder.

"Oof" the object I hit emitted a low groan, as I hit it again, opening my eyes and looking up.

"If your gonna hit something Tsu, next time, please check that it doesn't have nerves or a heart" Vhynn chuckled softly, wrapping his arms around my waist, pulling me closer.

As he did this, I almost didn't notice the wet streaks in his navy blue v-neck. But I didn't care, as one of his hands came up to cup my head, pressing me closer into him, more tears coming out, sniffles filling the air.

"Shhh, it's okay, it's okay" I breathed deeply, huddling closer into him.

I woke up to the smell of food, and my tummy rumbled a bit. A distant laugh sounded, as a pair of dark eyes looked into mine.

"Your stomach has great timing, dinner just finished" he smiled at me, making all my worries melt away.

Wait... Dinner? Already?

I rubbed my eyes groggily, trying to wake up my mind, "how long was I asleep?"

At the very moment, Xi walked into the room, her long hair wrapped up in a towel atop her head, "Mmmm, about 9 hours" she said, glancing toward the clock getting out a loud yawn.

"How many minutes left on the clock Vhynn?!" She yelled over to him in the kitchen, I heard a loud, exasperated sigh emit from Vhynn as he yelled back.

"Go check it your self you lazy bum!!!!" I had to stifle a giggle as he turned around to yell at Xi some more only to find her right in his face, scaring him.

"Fiiiine~" she whinnied playfully, making a face at him, sticking out her tongue as she turned away to check it herself, the towel slapping him lightly on the face.

I sat up slowly, rubbing the head ache starting in my head, garsh my head hurt. Right at that moment, Vhynn came over, as if reading my mind, with a cup of water and some Tylenol.

"Thanks love" I murmured, guzzling down the water with the medicine. He simply smiled in response, rubbing my back slowly.

"What is Xi doing?"

"Oh her?" He asked, gesturing a hand toward her, "She's bleaching her hair"

I nodded in response, glancing over at Xi who was staring at the timer intensely as if willing it to move faster.

I opened my mouth to ask what color, but he beat me to it. "She's bleaching it an orangey red color"

At that very moment Xi looked up, glancing toward me, before looking back at the timer, speaking softly, "Vhynn told me about what happened with Star, I'm sorry I was the cause of that"

I felt my heart pang suddenly, and words started to just fall out of my mouth, or word vomit as my friends call it, "no it's not your fault at all, if it was anyone's fault it was mine. I mean I should have kept that to myself eater than sharing it with her, though I had no idea that It would hurt her that much. But then again how was I to know that Angel walked out on her, in fact she should have told me first, well she tried but I cut her off, so it's actua-" I got cut off myself by a spoon of warm food being forced into my mouth. To describe it in one word;

Delicious.

I looked over at Vhynn who was smiling sheepishly at me, holding a plate full of warm food. "What is it?" I managed to say, between chews.

He laughed softly, moving a piece of hair behind my ear, "Cantonese-Styled Sweet and Sour Soup"

"So this is the famous Sweet and Sour Soup?" I asked in amazement, happily letting him place another spoonful into my mouth, "it's delicious"

He laughed again, as Xi settled into the couch near by, "You guys are worse than a honey moon couple" she stuck her tongue out at us and squirmed around a bit before directing her attention to the tv instead.

At that very moment the timer buzzed for her as she cursed under her breath, mumbling unintelligible words, that I'm quite sure was inappropriate, as she strolled her way into the bath room to only what I could assume to be washing the bleach out of her hair, a minute later you could hear the water turning on, and a shrill Shriek as I heard Xi's complaint from the bathroom.

"It's cooooooold~!" I could almost hear the pout in her voice as she continued to wash it out.

Me and Vhynn simply laughed as I attempted to grab the spoon from him to feed myself. "Let me feed you Tsu, you need to relax" he said, keeping the spoon far from my reach, pinning me down with his other fore arm.

I fought with him a bit more, but reluctantly, I complied. I sat up slowly, with Vhynn's help, as he fed me, he smiled suddenly sticking the spoon in his own mouth, "indirect kiss"

I rolled my eyes at him playfully, and punched him in the shoulder, in turn he tackles me into the couch. I look up at him, my face flushed what I could imagine to be a bright red, slowly his face face inches closer to my own, my eyes can see nothing but his lips. I can feel his breath on my lips, stealing my own away slowly.

"How's it look?" Xi yells suddenly.
