Tsubaki And Vhynn's Story

Chapter 16

A few days have passed since Angel walked out on Star, in that time, a few things have changed.

For one, Xi and I have gotten close. She seems to have a crush as well, Nate, the boy who came over the other night was a close friend of hers, and much like Vhynn, she had grown up next door to him, and has known him for a majority of her life.

She had left her old house, next to Nate after she lost her job and was incapable of paying for it, and had to give it up to foreclosure.

Too ashamed to talk to Nate about it, she came here, to Vhynn to stay with him until she could get back up on her feet.

Speaking of Vhynn... We're is he? I thought, looking around. He was no where in sight, again.

Shortly after spending a very, very long night at Vhynn's, he started spending more and more time away from me. Normally this wouldn't have bothered me so much, after all, I don't expect his life to revolve around me.

But after what happened that night, I really did hope thugs wouldn't change between us, but as the days began to pass, he spent less and less time with me. I began to wonder if after seeing me like that, having that type of physical intimacy with me, he grew tired of me. Bored even.

Suddenly I felt my phone buzz in my pocket and grabbed it before it could begin to sing and answered immediately, "Star!" I yelled Ito the phone, so happy that she was finally answering me after almost a week without any replies.

"Yes...?" She replied, sounding a bit surprised by my sudden gusto.

"I'm so sorry Star! I didn't mean too! I just tried to explain things! I didn't know Angel did that!" I babbled, words flowing from my mouth, it was hard to stop, I was so freaked out, so worried, and at the same time, so happy.

"Tsutsu! Calm down it's okay! He came back and I understand your point..." she answered back calmly, slowing my rapidly beating heart, mug like a mother.

"But I!" I started, not getting very far, my heart leaped into my throat.

"It's okay really..." she giggled, I suddenly felt all the tension leak out of e, knowing she was okay.

"Oh... so where was he...?" I asked, suddenly remember the male cause of the problem.

"He went back home to get me those butterscotch candies that I like so much." She laughed casually. As if thy were perfectly okay.

"Oh... AND HE DIDN'T LEAVE YOU A NOTE?!" I yelled at her, how rude, I noted in my head, if Vhynn ever did that, well.. I would have his head.

"No he didn't but it's okay..." She argued.

"No it's not does he know how much you cried over him?!" I yelled furiously, there was no way in heaven or hell he was getting away with this.

"No but I'm just glad he's back..." she said, even through the phone I could tell she was smiling.

"I'm happy for you but what an insensitive jerk! I mean come ON! He left you for a week or so without even a note or a call or ANYTHING!!"

"I know..." she paused, for a reason I didn't know until the villains vice traveled through the phone.

"I'm not insensitive... I went FOR Star not myself..." I heard Angels deep voice say. I frowned into the phone.

"Why didn't you tell me he was listening?!" I complained jokingly, laughing whole heartedly.

"I'm sorry..." she giggled into the phone.

"Sheesh girl!" I could her Angel chuckling in the background.
