Tsubaki And Vhynn's Story

Chapter 11

We rushed over to Nick's house, we opened the door and saw April, sitting on the floor, cradling Nick's head to her chest.

Beside them lay a sharp knife, untouched by blood though I could tell it was ready to be used.

Star ran in after us and saw the knife on the ground and collapsed to her knees.

"Why do the good always die so young!!!!" she yelled her eyes closed tightly as tears streamed down her face.

"Star-" I touched her hand but she shook it away,

"no, we need to call 911-"

"STAR!!!!!" April screamed, star turned around, "huh?"

"Star, I'm alive" said Nick softly and weakly.

I sat down beside April, "Can you tell us what happened?" I patted her hand.

"Okay" she swallowed looking down at Nick and played with his hair.

"I was going around, looking for Nick, like we always do these days, and came here to look. I was just steeping through the door... And Nick... He was-" she tried to continue but she couldn't as tears fell hard on Nicks shirt, he gripped her hand and pulled her down and kissed her slowly in front of us all, her face flushed bright red and looked down.

"I'll finish babe" said Nick, squeezing her hand.

"I had a knife above my heart; to me a life without April was nothing. So I decided I didn't want my life. But now, I have April. My life is complete once more" he smiled at her, April's face was still flushed bright red though it was obvious she was happy.

The next day brought a new beginning for us all. That day Angel had gotten out of the hospital, also April and Nick were finally together again, the way it should be.

As celebration, we had a party at my house.

"Vhynn, I know you love to cook and all... But could you leave me something to do!" I laughed as I looked at all the food he made. Fried rice, fried noodles, orange chicken, and even some stuff I had no idea what the heck was.

He pouted at me teasingly and took my hands in his, "how about this? Give me a kiss and I'll let you make the coconut shrimp?" he smiled knowing I would take any chance I could get to kiss him.

"I accept" I said as we locked our lips, the kiss lasted more than a while when a quite giggle sounded behind us. I jumped at the sound, but Vhynn just wrapped his arms around my waist and held me against his chest as I turned around.

Star stood there, and had obviously been watching us.

"How long have you been there?!" I yelled my face burning bright red.

"long enough to say..." she glanced behind her and saw a familiar figure.

"Use Protection" they screamed at us together, as Angel wrapped an arm around Star's waist.

Cross coughed, "same could go for you two" I saw Star's face turn red.

"We are" shrugged Angel as he smiled mischievously.

"Whatever!" I laughed at him, and went toward the stove.

I was just finishing the shrimp as I felt a warm breath on my neck, Cross put his chin on my shoulder and blew gently on my neck.

I shivered at the cool breeze, "Vhynn!!! Come on, there's people here" I blushed and glanced towards Star and Angel.

"All the more reason to" he smiled as he kissed my neck and sucked gently.

"V-Vhynn, what was that for?!" I blushed.

"Just to point out that your mine, and I'm not fond of sharing" he smiled as I heard a knock on the door.

"I got it!" I yelled as I pushed Vhynn away lovingly and ripped off my apron.

As I opened the door I found April and Nick standing together hand in hand.

"Hey you two!" I said greeting them happily, suddenly a hand slid onto my hip.

"April, Nick. You two made it. Come on in please." he said shoeing them in.

April stepped in and smiled. "Yum!!! It smells like a Chinese restaurant in here!"

I laughed and pointed towards my man, "Blame Vhynn, he made lunch" he laughed and hugged me, "she made shrimp"

"ya, that's all you let me make" I said pushing him away.

"Only if she kissed him though!!!" added in Star, I shot her a look and hid my face.

"And boy did they kiss" whistled Angel.

April and Nick laughed as Vhynn fought with me to put my hands down.

After I finally gave in, we thanked god for our food and the blessings we are given.

We sat down to eat, enjoying each other's Company.

Suddenly there was a knock at the door, before I could get up. Vhynn did.

"I'll get it!" he opened the door, as I turned to ask him who it was, I saw a girl with her arms wrapped around his neck as she hugged him.
