I Maim For Her.

Nik had told me the entirety of his plan for a cure for Elena, told me about The Five, and told me that the plan was quite changeable. As in if it becomes even the slightest bit fatal he'll say damn the hybrids and only do what's needed for our families survival so we can leave mystic falls with no loose ends. "If you want my full co-operation you have to make up with Beks. You may have forsaken her but I didn't and I know you truly didn't mean it." I negotiated with Nik as I made breakfast for us. "You're right. I'll try to make amends after breakfast." Nik said sitting at the island bar. "No. You will try and succeed. This is our family, Nik. We've already collectively lost enough. Now, eat. I have calls with Elijah and Kol to make while you go get on Bek's good side." I told him placing his plate in front of him and mine beside his. "As you wish."

***** Time Skip*****

"Relax, dear brothers, this is just a wellness check." I teased. "I thought you had finally realized what a wanker Nik is and decided to call me up for a better time, darling." Kol said making me roll my eyes and Elijah as well no doubt. "I love him, Kol. Even if he is a wanker." I said and the line went silent until Elijah spoke up. "I'm sorry I think I must have miss heard you. Did you say love?" The teasing in his own voice did not go amiss. "Yes, Lijah, I love Niklaus and he loves me as well." I confirmed. "She's done it. She made the bloody bastard capable of the emotion." Kol chimed in. "Be fair, Kol, Niklaus was always capable just never willing." Elijah retorted. "Alright I just wanted to make sure you were all alive and well. I'm sure a family reunion will be underway soon with the oncoming drama. Just still don't bring up Nik to Beks. He hasn't patched things up with her yet and I don't want to pressure her into forgiveness if she's not ready for it." I said and we went on with the rest of the phone call normally with me telling them a few things here and there. Nothing about Nik's plan though, he can tell them himself.

Once the call was over a frustrated Nik walked into the house and straight to the guarded room where the hunter was chained up. Ally sighed and followed her lover to the torture chamber. "Amore, can you play with your food later?" She teased but Nik's expression didn't budge. "Beks still won't talk to you?" She tried again and by the clench of his hands she knew she was right. "Awe, honey, she'll come around. You really hurt her just give her some breathing room."

Apparently breathing room to Nik meant forcing Rebekah to dinner. It was tense and Nik's banter and Beratung of his sister was getting on Ally's nerves. "Nik you call her a love sick fool but what about me? People around here think me clinically insane half the time because even after everything you do I still love you! If Beks is a fool then I must be a joke." She rants throwing her napkin down and storms up to their room hearing Nik curse under his breath.

Ally decides to sleep off her temper, if Nik wasn't willing to try and be genuine then Ally won't try to help him. He's a big boy, after all. 

*****Dream*****

Ally was at yet another grand party, her dress would suggest another Victoria Era bash. "Can't even get away from him in my dreams huh?" She asked no one at all. She wondered around the sophisticated and downright boring party until she heard Elijah and Nik talking in a private room. " Your devotion to her is admirable Niklaus. You are so sure of her." She hears Elijah say as she walk-in. "Wow. You know I will never let you live this long hair look down, Lijah." She says shaking her head at his looks but Nik, that damn bastard, still looked so sexy with his shoulder length blonde curls. "Because I can feel it brother. Even now I know that she and I are to be something unstoppable." Nik says and Elijah observes his brother for a moment before his eyes go back to the painting of Ally in the apparel she is currently adorned in in her sleep state. "Did you not say to me that love is a vampires greatest weakness?" Elijah tests his brother while Ally rolls her eyes. "Of course you said that." She said becoming vexed with him all over again. " I do not love her, Elijah." Nik says on the contrary. "Liar." Ally teases though no one can hear. "Oh?" Elijah questions in confusion. "No. I do not love her. I adore her. I live for her. I maim for her. And I am waiting for the day where I can be with her. But I do not love her, not yet. Not until I break my curse and can protect her." Niklaus says with his eyes never moving from the painting of his red haired beauty. "Oh." Ally says in shock.

*****Dream Over*****

Ally awoke from her short nap with a groan. "Why can't I just stay mad at him?" She asks the universe. "Does this mean I'm forgiven?" She hears her lovers voice from the doorway. "No." Ally answers stubbornly. "You need to earn forgiveness, amore, but I am not angry with you." She answered truthfully as she turned in the bed to face him. "I understand, love." He says walking over and kissing her passionately. In that moment Nik's lips and touch was enough to distract Ally from the unsettling feeling in her gut that his new plan to cure Elena was going to ruin far more than what it will fix.
