(What I imagine for her dress and hair for the ball.)

The ball had just started and most people were already here. I was nervously pacing with my hand on my stomach. I was already in my dress, heels make up and Rebekah had our hair already professionally styled with mine having small white flowers through it and a few framing wavy locks around my face. "Stop pacing, you'll put a hole through the floor. You look stunning." Rebekah says pulling me to a halt. I took another deep breath. "Rebekah it has been years since I've been a part of a family, and just as long since I've done something so formal. I just don't want to mess it up." I said looking over the rail at the well dressed room of towns folk who still can't see me. Then i spot Nik looking as handsome as ever, mingling with some higher ups in the town. "You won't, now I will make my entrance, just take a few deep breaths and make yours after." She said with a smile before taking her leave elegantly making her entrance as most of the guests stop and admire her. Nik looked at her then tried to look up for me but I backed away before he could see me. I took a breath and closed my eyes to settle the nerves. "You've got this." I said to myself and i bit back my anxiety. Elena and Caroline entered the ball when I stood at the very top out of view. I started my slow and graceful walk down the stairs and the whole room turned at the sound of my heels lightly tapping each step. My eyes searched to room until they met the wide oceanic tones of Niklaus' gaze.

Niklaus' P.O.V.

I was tapping my foot constantly at the agonizing wait to see Ally in her dress. Rebekah went on about how stunning she looked and I wanted nothing more than to see it for myself. Some heads had turned at the entrance of the doppelganger and Caroline which i only quickly glanced since they weren't who I was waiting to make an entrance. Suddenly the slight noise of heels on the stair case stole the whole room's attention. I watched as Ally made her descent down the stairs. My jaw went slack, any and all conversation stopped at the sight of the ethereal being that Ally was. When her evergreen eyes found my icy blue ones it felt like I was being pulled to her and so with the pull I went, our eyes locked on one another with each step and an awe struck smile meeting her small joyful one. I met her half way up the stairs taking her hand and bringing it to my lips keeping my eyes on hers. Her smile widened before she quickly glanced around then looked back to me as went beside her arm in arm, hearing many of the men inhibiting the room's jealous mummers. "Nik, why are they all starring?" She asks in hush tones looking forward while my eyes haven't left her in the slightest. "You can't help but stare when you see an angel." I answered honestly. "If I'm an angel, what does that make you?" She questions with a raised brow and a sly smile. " I'm the sinner who only prays for you." I tell her making her blush.

Ally's P.O.V.

"I'm the sinner who only prays for you." Nik said making me internally swoon. I blushed and he grabbed us two champagne glasses off of a tray passing by and handed one to me. "For you, darling." Nik offered and I took it with thanks. "Well you look stunning, Cherry Blossom." I heard from behind me, Nik rolling his eyes at the interruption. I turned an saw Damon in a tux. "Thanks, Dames. You look fancier than usual." I said before the sight of Kol flirting with Caroline who only shrugged him off making him try harder. She caught me looking in her direction and with pleading eyes mouthed a 'help me.' to which I shrugged with a fake sorry. If anything Kol knows how to take peoples mind off of something with his banter and she needs that right now. "Did you come over here for a reason, mate?" Nik asked setting his arm around my waist. "Just wanted to compliment my friend, no need to get all uppity Klaus." Damon retorts. Elijah goes up the stairs and lightly taps his glass to make an announcement. "Looks like that's your cue." Damon says to Nik with a smirk. "Our cue actually." Nik says before pulling us both away to head half way up the stairs behind Elijah. "Uh, if everyone could gather, please." Elijah requests and all the Mikaelson's, including their mother and I stand together on the staircase. "Welcome, thank you for joining us. You know, whenever my mother brings our family together like this, it's tradition for us to commence the evening with a dance. And now we welcome a new member to the Mikaelson family, we have chosen a dance near and dear to her." Elijah reveals motioning to me with a raised glass.
