I Fixed Him

The drive to Mystic Falls was filled with neck snaps and thick tension. I would glance at Nik every so often but I didn't speak to him nor did he try to speak to me. I kept asking myself over and over in my head 'Is she really alive? Why wouldn't they tell me?' When we came to a stop and the truck we were in the trailer of stopped moving I knew we were here. I stood up and stretched my legs about to open the back of the truck when Niklaus' voice stopped me. "Where are you going, love?" He said the cockiness in his voice fueling my annoyance. "I was going to hop out and get fresh air so I won't have to feel the tension in this truck, but I guess the big bad hybrid has other plans?" I asked sarcastically giving him direct eye contact. "Well love I was planning on waiting for Stefan to wake up,  see what he so desperately wanted to keep secret." He said sitting on one of his siblings coffins. I roll my eyes and lay down on the floor of the truck we were in since its like a big U-HAUL and cross one leg over the other keeping them straight. "What are you doing?" Rebekah asks in amusement as I laid back on my fore arms to keep myself up while on the floor. "I won't sit on those coffins. Though they all surely aren't completely dead i think it's rude." I said with a pointed look toward Nik who is sitting on one. "Well it's not like they'll know." Nik said with a shrug and smirk before I turn my head to were Stefan was. I started to wonder if maybe they had found a way to save Elena and keep her human. I sighed and sat up bringing my knees up looking at my nails. Suddenly Stefan gasped awake and afraid.

"I can explain." Stefan said looking at Nik. "No need. I'm just curious as too what you could be hiding. Rebekah thinks it has to do with the doppelgänger and her instincts are sharp. Borderline supernatural." Nik says before making his way to the end of the truck. "I wanted to see for myself. Welcome back to Mystic Falls, Stefan." Nik said before snapping his neck again. "Watch him for a minute sister." Nik asks before speeding off. I take a deep breath and think of all the places Elena could be if she was alive when an idea came to mind. "I'll see you soon Beks." I said looking to her briefly to see her roll her eyes but nod along. I wolf sped to the school and listened for either Elena or Nik. "Attention seniors, you have been busted.." I heard from the gym where I sped to. I saw Nik and in his grasp a very alive Elena. "You've been alive this whole time?" i said in shock making the two of them turn to me. "Ally, I'm so sorry but Damon and Stefan said-"

"Said that i couldn't know? I'm their best friend and they couldn't tell me? I signed my life away to save BOTH their asses and I felt horrible think about how you were dead and Damon was alone, and they couldn't trust ME?!" I cut her off with anger fueling my every word. I felt my eyes turn red for a moment but I closed them and took a deep breath to relax. "I've seen what can happen if she gets angry, love. I would advise not to anger her more." Nik says to her when he saw her about to reply. She throws him a slight glare and looks back to me with pleading eyes, but i simply just watch. I watch as Nik compels a teen girl to lift her foot up and a boy about her age to kill her if her foot touches the ground. "You don't have to hurt anybody." She says, which is exactly what Nik wants to hear. " But you care about everybody, and the people who care about you can help him, so technically, he does have to hurt at the very least a few people if it means getting what he needs." I said blankly to her before looking at Nik. He has a sinister smirk on his face that only slightly falters when he notices my lack of emotion, his eyes showing a bit of concern my way. I push my green iris' away from his blue ones and listen while Nik explains his 'dilemma' to Elena about why he hasn't killed her.

My head snaps to the entrance on the  gym we were in as the doors open and in comes Bonnie and Matt with a warning cry from Elena. Nik speeds over to Bonnie making her jump slightly. "There you are just the witch I wanted to see. I suppose this is your doing?" Nik said gesturing to Elena, his smirk not moving. "That's right, so if you are gonna blame someone blame me." Bonnie said boldly. "Oh no need for blame love it's just your witchy interference has caused some undesirable side effects. One's that you are going to fix." He said with a wider smile showing his pearly teeth. Before anymore questions could be asked; the door opens again but this time in comes Rebekah dragging a fighting Tyler. "Ah there she is! Everyone this is my sister, Rebekah, bit of a warning she can be quite hostile" Nik says as he sees his sister only to be met with a quick remark and an eye roll. "Beks what are you doing with Tyler?" I ask in concern for the young wolf, he wasn't even involved in any of this. She shoves him to the floor and he quickly turns over in fear only for Nik to grab him into a head lock. "I need you to find a way to save my hybrids, Bonnie..." He starts before biting into his wrist and shoving it onto Tyler's mouth. I sped over to Nik's side as he did so. "Nik, what are you doing he's just a kid?" I said in a whisper tone looking at the fear in Tyler's eyes. "Getting what i need." He whispers back before turning his attention back to Bonnie. "And for Tyler's sake, you better hurry." He says before snapping Ty's neck, a gasp escaping my lips as my eyes widened. Bonnie and Matt run to the young wolfs limp body as I stay there in shock.

Bonnie and Matt leave the gym to find away to save Nik's hybrids and Rebekah drags Tyler's body away. "Why did you do that to Tyler?" I asked Nik lowly with anger laced in my voice. "The witch needed incentive. If she want's her friend to live she'll find a way to save my hybrids." He said nonchalantly. "Nik, he's just a kid he just barely triggered his curse before the start of summer. He doesn't even have a grip on what it is to be a wolf and you just made it to where he has to be a hybrid to live?" I said still keeping my tone of voice low as i feel Elena stare at how Nik and I are acting. "Why do you care, love?" Nik said in annoyance. "Because we both know what it's like to be stripped of our choices and forced to live a life we didn't ask for." I whispered ever so lightly to where only he could hear it before turning and walking out of the gym. I go to the cafeteria and sit in a chair letting out a stressed breath before pushing my hair out of my face. I sit there for a good thirty Minutes before a panting and seething Stefan comes in and speeds to a wooden mop breaking it in half before stabbing himself with it. "Stefan what the hell?" I nearly yell rushing over to him trying to pull the wooden handle out only for him to try and push me away. "What happened Stefan? What's going on?" I ask trying to figure out how to help him.

"Now this is amazing, I have never seen this before. Your love for this one girl is enough for you to try and fight off my compulsion." Nik says walking in with a hurt Elena.  He lets her go and speeds to Stefan ripping out the wood and standing him against the wall. "Why don't you turn it off?" Nik suggest. "Nik stop." I warn as Stefan shakes his head as he still pants. "Oh come on you're strong but you're not that strong. Turn it off." Nik says again. Stefan looks at Elena then at Nik. "No!" His voice booms as he pushes Nik away, his breathing heavier. Nik slams Stefan against the wall. "Turn it off!" He yells compelling Stefan to turn off his emotions. Stefan closes his eyes stammering and gasping a bit before opening them and all the emotion that was there seconds ago was without a trace. "What did you do?" Elena asked crying. "I fixed him." Nik said turning to her.
