Come in.

I don't have to work today which is great because I haven't been able to sleep since that dream, which decided to wake me at 3 am. I wish i could hear his voice again but at least now I know his name. I still do not have a clue as to why I keep seeing Nik in my dreams. Why is it always random time periods? Maybe hes a vampire? But why am I dreaming about a vampire I've never met? How am i so sure he's real? I comb over more questions in my head as i get up to prepare a cup of coffee for myself. I make my way back to my room and sit on the window seat that goes to the all metal fire escapes my apartment has and I watch the stars say their last goodbye before the sun starts to push them out of the sky when a man suddenly appears on my fire escape. "Oh my god!" i scream frightened almost spilling my coffee then i recognize who the figure is. Elijah. He looks at me ans smiles while not revealing any of his pearly white teeth. I open my window knowing he cant come in without invitation. "How are you alive? Damon staked you." I said genuinely confused. "I am an original vampire Ally silly tricks like that cannot kill me only the wood of a tree that doesn't exist anymore can kill me and seeing how it doesn't exist i can't be killed." He said calmly. "What is it you want from me? Am I part of some sacrifice too or is that just Elena?" I said getting confident. "You may be just the thing to aid me in the destruction of my brother." He said. "Klaus? Hes your brother and you want to kill him." i stated more than asked. He simply smiled at me and said "Yes i understand that a wolf as powerful as yourself can be used in the sacrifice along with Elena all I ask is you and her stay safe and I will let your little friends help me do so in return for your safety you all help me kill my brother a task I am sure the Salvatore's are already hell bent on." I looked at him and smiled. He has this big brother aura about him that makes me want to trust him. So i do. "Would you like to come in?" He smiled and came in through my widow.

"Next time you can just knock on my door you know?" i said in a laughing tone giving him a cup of coffee. "I thought the fire escape had a little more dramatic flair." he said jokingly. I laughed lightly. "Why do you want to kill him? He is your brother." i asked. "He daggered our other siblings and dropped them to the bottom of the oceans. He needs to pay for his indiscretions." I nod. "But hes the only brother you have now Lijah. I know if it was me I would soon rather kill myself then to kill the only other family i had left even if they did do such a thing." I admitted. "Why is that Ally?" he said looking at me as if the answer wasn't clear. "Because being the lone wolf gets lonely and so when you find another thing to call family you fight for it even if that thing is the biggest monster in the world." I said sincerely. "That's one way to look at it I suppose." He said. "Look I am sure you are going to show up in front of the others and give that same 'i-am-killing-my-brother' speech but hes still your brother and i can see even now on your face you aren't even sure you want to kill him so if you don't i wont judge. Just as long as my friends don't die." I said honestly. "And what of your life if i don't succeed?" he ask. I take a deep breath and I look at him. "As long as my friends are okay. Just make sure my coffin is burgundy." I said honestly. drinking the last of my coffee. "I give you my word that neither you or your loved ones will perish due to my brother nor I." Elijah said in a serious tone. As if promising both himself and I at the same time. "I believe you." I believe Elijah will try his hardest to keep his word. But I know promises don't always work out the way you want them to.

I tell Elijah to make himself at home in my apartment while i get dressed for the day. I put on dark skinny jeans, a black crop top and oversized black  hoodie that i leave unzipped with some black converse. I brush my deep red hair out and let its natural waves fall where they may because I'm too tired to give a damn and also to tired to put on anything other than lip gloss and mascara for make up. As i finish i hear my phone ring so I answer and walk to the living room and see Elijah is in the space in between my kitchen and my living room where i have all my art and books. He's looking at my paintings and sketches when me coming in makes him turn to me. "If it isn't my favorite Salvatore." I say to Damon. "Good news she-wolf I talked to Rose and after a little convincing-"

"Meaning you slept with her." i smirk at my comment.

"Right convincing. I managed to get her to help us and you are going to come with us to this Slater guys house so that we can get info on the sacrifice and the stone. See if we can stop it." I look to Elijah to see his reaction since i know he's listening.

"Yeah. Count me in." I say once i see Elijah doesn't have a particularly negative reaction to the idea.

"Great I'll see you in a minute, Sexy."

"See you then, Hot stuff." I say rolling my eyes.

Elijah raises his eyebrow at me. "I thought the eldest Salvatore had a thing for dopplegangers?" he said jokingly. I laugh and shake my head. "He does. Him and I are best friends who just play around like that." I say grabbing my purse. "Well something tells me that when Klaus inevitable pops up he will absolutely despise that relationship between you and Damon." I look at him quizzically. "Why would your brother care about Damon and I?" I ask crossing my arms. " One more person in the way of what he wants." He said going back to looking at my drawings. "Oh another thing to stop his sacrifice, right." I say and he looks over his shoulder and smirks. "Something like that yes." I roll my eyes already annoyed with Klaus and he isn't even here nor do i know what he looks like. I hear Damon text me and see that he's here. "Damon is here. Feel free to stay if you want ill tell you about anything that happens when i can." I say grabbing my keys. "See you later, Elijah." I say and head toward the door. "See you Later, Ally." He said still looking at my drawings. I lock the door and go outside and get in the car with Damon and Rose. What I didn't know was that Elijah left my apartment and followed us to Slater's.
