Hello to all!

Sorry, I'm posting a bit late, I had a busy weekend ^^ Just so you know, I wrote half of this chapter while I was working and removing a splinter in my finger.

Anyway, here is the chapter, I hope you'll like it :) Have a good reading

A week later, the Avengers are in the meeting room with Director Fury and Agent Hill.

"Hello everyone, I think it's important to give an update now that most of you are physically recovered." the director began to say.

"How is Natasha doing? Any news?" asked Steve.

"Right now she's still out, the doctors don't know if she'll wake up."

"When..." muttered Clint.

"Sorry, Agent Barton, did you say anything?" asked Fury.

"I said when. The doctors don't know when she's going to wake up," Clint corrected, bringing a blank to the room.

" Right, when." the director corrected himself.

"What do we know about Y/n?" asked Tony then.

"Right now, Agent Ivanov is in her cell, she woke up and hasn't moved. She just sits there, staring blankly without saying a word or giving any sign of life. The only time she moves is to eat or go to the bathroom. There are agents constantly around her cell watching her, and they are not allowed to make contact with her." explained Fury.

"Have you tried to talk to her?" asked Steve.

"We've tried, but without success. She's not responsive at all. She's staring at us with no words, no emotion or anything. It's like talking to a wall." replied Fury.

"Maybe we could try it ourselves, one at a time of course." suggested Tony. "I'd love to go see her." he continued.

"I'm not sure that's a good idea," Bruce commented. The other Avengers looked at him, waiting for an explanation. "We don't know how she'll react, whether she'll try to attack you or not. Last we heard, she wants us all dead."

"Doctor Banner is right." began Fury, but was cut off by Agent Barton.

"Didn't you say she had an ability inhibitor around her neck? That the machine that can weaken her is always ready to be used? and that she's in a cell powerful enough to hold 10 Hulks?" asked Clint.

"It's true what he says. What can she do to us? Vigilance is at a premium and we know what to expect. We're not going to stay hidden out of fear." continued Steve.

"We're the Avengers, we don't run from danger, we face it and find solutions." added Thor.

"All right then, it's decided, we're going to see her, I'm going to start." announced Stark without waiting for approval from the Director or Bruce.

"So be it. I will inform the agents in charge of surveillance of Agent Ivanov. Don't go alone and be careful." replied Director Fury.

After this statement, the Avengers left the room and headed for Y/n's cell. With Tony in the lead, he rushed to the cell. He wanted to see her, he had questions, he had to talk to her, he needed to. He just had to. But Steve grabbed his arm and stopped him in his tracks.
