Chapter 21 : Invincible

Y/n's POV

It's been a week since I've been back to normal. I've been able to recover from my injuries so the Avengers want to get me back to training. I will continue to learn how to fight with Nat using my senses, I will learn how to handle weapons with Clint, I will learn how to control my strength and speed with Steve, I will create my suit with Tony, I will see first aid with Bruce and I will learn how to fight stronger than me with Thor. Sometimes some will pair up to train me. For example, Steve and Thor will both fight me, forcing me to use my strength to the max.

These training sessions are really exhausting. But you can see how much I've improved since I've been here. I can beat them all in 1vs1. I wonder if I could even beat the Hulk. Of course, sometimes my power took over and my eyes changed color and I was out of control. I was going even faster than ever and using even more strength than I should. So they decided that I should now learn to control this power, to use it when I want to and not let it possess me.

That's what's happening right now, I'm with Thor, Clint, Steve and Nat (yes so many, it takes a lot to stop me if I lose control).

"Okay Y/n, here's what's going to happen. We're going to start out slow and then we'll increase the difficulty okay?" Steve warns me.

"No problem."

"We're not going to go easy, I want to make that clear." he says, unsure. I smiled at him and nodded to show him that there was no problem.

Everyone then got into position.

Me in the center of the room. Clint positioned high behind me on my right diagonal, ready to fire his arrows. Steve and Thor are in front of me and Nat is also behind me, on my left diagonal.

At first nothing happens, we all wait for Steve's signal. I close my eyes and try to relax and use my hearing to apprehend their movements. I enter a particular phase where I can visualize (without opening my eyes) the position of each one as well as their movements. That's how I feel everyone getting into position and Steve nodding his head. I can't stop smiling and then I feel something coming towards me at a crazy speed. I turn around, catch the object just before it reaches my head. Then I open my eyes, shift the arrow I just caught and look at Clint. I raise my eyebrows playfully and smile at him. Then without moving my head I look to the right, sensing Nat coming. I turn around, spinning the arrow in my hand and throw it towards Steve then find myself fighting with Nat. I know that Steve has protected himself from the arrow with his shield.

The fight with Nat is easier than the first one we had. We throw punches at each other, but we block or dodge every time. The boys look for gaps where they can get in without hurting the redhead. Then I manage to give her a kick in the stomach that makes her move back quite far. Steve takes the opportunity to charge at me with his shield. I dodge and turn around just as Thor's hammer comes flying in my direction. I dodge at the last moment and find myself fighting against Steve and Nat at the same time. They are really a good duo.

I dodge less and less, and find myself mostly parrying their attacks as I can. But Steve puts all his strength in it. Then suddenly, Steve grabs Nat, Clint shoots an arrow straight, not trying to reach me, a wire is attached to this arrow, and is therefore above our heads. An object slides along this wire and Steve hangs on it, taking Nat with him. Confused, I do not move then I feel myself thrown violently backwards. I get up with difficulty and see Thor with his hammer against the ground, a few meters from where I was just before he hit the ground.

Damn they are really well coordinated. I then get up, dodge an arrow from Clint and it goes into the wall behind me. Unfortunately it was an exploding arrow, so it exploded right next to me, sending me flying for several feet before landing hard on the ground.
