Short chapter: I'm having writer's block :(
After the initial shock of being signed to Brendon's record label, I realized what this meant. We were going to tour, and we were going to put an album out. We were going to be something, this girl I randomly met at a rest stop would now be touring with me, and is already living with me.
"We will have you guys tour, a headline tour at small venues. And the album needs to come out as soon as possible. You have one free download single. And we're gonna do a video for one of the songs, something that will get peoples attention. I'm thinking the song you played about abuse." Carey was already planning things out.
"And you two need to sort out whatever you are." Brendon chimed in, "It changes how we bill you in promotions."
"We're just friends right now." Scarlett said quickly back to him. It kind of hurt me how quick she made that decision. I thought that she would at least think about it.
"Do you have any songs ready to record?" Carrey asked.
"Yeah, all of them could be recorded. I've played 'em a million times." I said to her, nodding at Scarlett.
The next 12 hours were a blur. We recorded an album in 12 hours. 10 songs, plus an intro. It sounded gritty, and raw, but great. Brendon was still there and at the end came out with bottles of beer.
"I got these for you guys. You've earned it." He was drunk himself and I downed about three of them.
"We need you guys to plan a video for that song." He said, before we left and same black car took us back to our apartment.
