The bus had a bunk for each of us in a narrow hallway, and a small kitchen area. There was a trailer behind us for amps and guitars and stuff. Clothes were in a closet in the very back of the bus. There was a bathroom. Our first show was in Chicago, so we didn't have to go far. Scarlett was nervous and not saying a word. She was pacing about the bus, almost falling over at every turn.
Soon we were at the venue, where we had to change into our show costumes and go on. She still hadn't said a word, and walked into her dressing room.
I put on tight black jeans, and a red double breasted blazer. I powdered my face, for the hot lights and the scar on my cheek. I decided to wear black doc martens. I debated putting on a little eyeliner. Eventually lining the bottom of my eyes, I walked out of dressing room to find Scarlett.
She was standing outside the venue smoking a cigarette. She had put on tight leather tap shorts, and a bra top with a floral print on it. Her hair was mussed up in its red pixi cut and she had eyeliner on (well so did I,) and glitter on her cheeks. She was wearing stilettos.
"Scarlett, what is wrong?" I asked her, lighting my own cigarette.
"I'm nervous, everything has gone so fast. I know it's gonna work out, but I'm terrified. I'm utterly terrified. Like how did I end up with this much luck?" She put out her cigarette on the ground. I soon followed.
"Scarlett, we're gonna do great. We're good at this, they wouldn't have us be doing this if we weren't." I said as a man walked out in all black.
"You guys are on in two" They handed us our mics.
We walked on stage in the little venue. It held about 1500 and it was a sell out. Everyone was screaming and suddenly I felt this rush of energy.
"We are Airport Parking Spaces! I'm Pierce!" I stood in front of the stage with my guitar.
"And I'm Scarlett." Scarlett started singing one of the songs, a fast one, and I joined in while playing.
"So y'all doing tonight?" I shouted. I heard screams from the crowd, and wondered if they really liked it.
"Well we're doing good, actually we're doing fucking awesome- and hope you are too!" Scarlett spoke into the mic.
"We're going to play one last song, and then we have to head to Ohio.
We played the song from the video. And then came out for an encore where we played I Constantly Thank God for Esteban, by Panic! at the Disco and an original song.
