Chapter Eleven

Jesses POV

I was awoken by feeling a light caress across my cheek. I knew by the sparks it was Knox.

I leaned into his touch and found myself purring.

I heard his soft laugh before I felt him lips on my forehead as I enjoyed being in my mates arms.

Even when I'm not confident in myself he's there.

I hope that I'll be comfortable with my body one day.

I may have a confident personality. But deep down I'm very insecure.

But right now I want to stay in the arms of my mate. And forget about life for awhile.

But my stomach had other plans because it growled so loud I'm sure Knox heard.

"Looks like someones hungry." Knox laughed as he ran his hand up my arms to get me to wake up.

"But I want to stay in your arms." I groaned as I held tighter to Knox.

"Ok." Was all he said before he got up bringing me along with him and carried me out my room and downstairs.

He sat me down on one of the stools by the counter.

"Your mean." After he made me let him go.

"Sorry I want to feed my mate." Knox said smiling in turn causing me to smile.

"Now do you want to make something together or order in?" As Knox looked around the kitchen.

"Let me call my dad first he's my guess getting ready for this weekends rodeo." As I got my phone out.

And if your wondering yes Knox knows the we compete in Rodeos. I told him during lunch about what we do. How we are sponsored. The money we have won.

But I left out the part where I bullfight.

I know bad me. But I can't have him freaking out about me putting myself in danger.

He wasn't to happy about me being a firefighter. But he calmed down when I told him how much we train.

But I don't know how he will handle the bullfighting part.

Hey someone gotta protect the cowboys that fall off the bulls.

This weekend my twin brothers Tyler, Taylor, and I are going to be bullfighting this weekend. And Knox is coming. Along with Ryder, Jackson, and their mates.

I dialed my dads number and like always picks up after the second ring.

"Hey baby girl is everything ok. Tyler an Taylor called and told me what happened?" Dad asked with some concern.

"Yeah everything is fine. Knox is here with me and helped me." I said as I looked to Knox who smiled at me.

"Well that's good. Anyway what do you need?" He asked curiously.

"Would you like Knox and I to make something for dinner or?" I asked leaving the question opened.

"Ben and I can bring something home for all of us. And since I know Knox well I know what to get." Dad said and you could hear the smile.

"Thank you Biggs." Knox said smiling too.

"Man it's good to hear you say that." Dad said as he laughed a little.

"Anyway we'll be home 30 to 40 minutes." Dad said before we said our goodbyes.

After I hung up my phone I looked to Knox.

"So what do you want to do we have a half hour or more." I asked as I walked over and wrapped my arms around Knox and snuggle into his chest.

"I have an idea." Knox said with a certain look that know all to well.
