I Met My Alpha Mate After Being Dumped By My Fiance

Chapter Six

Jesses POV

Did she just say that.

"I would never reject my mate. She's my everything." He said lovely.

"Fine then just come to the wedding. It will make me look good that I'm friends with an Alpha and Luna of the world's strongest pack. Your the ultimate power couple. And that's means an even bigger and expensive wedding gift." She said with her annoying excited voice.

"I'm going to go now bye." Was all my response before hanging up.

"I can't believe there are people out there who act like that." Knox said as I turned around in his arms to put my arms around his neck.

"Yeah and to think I would want my ex back and just hand you over." As I buried my face in Knox chest and inhaled his scent to calm me down.

"Come on let's make some breakfast. Then we can go from there ok." He said leading me out of his room downstairs to the kitchen.

When we got to the kitchen two people were already in his kitchen.

"What have I told you about coming into my house unannounced." Knox said lifting me to sit on his counter.

"You love me too much." One of the men said as he ate from a bag of chips.

"Knox who's this?" The second man asked looking at me curiously.

"Yeah who's she. You've never bring anyone home?" The man eating the bag of chips asked.

"Ryder, Jackson this is my mate Jesse your Luna. Jesse This is Ryder my Beta. And this is Jackson my Gamma." Knox said with pride and love as he introduced me to them.

"No way you finally found her." Before he sniffed the air.

"And you finished the mating process. Congratulations." Ryder the one with chips said.

"Yeah congratulations. Maybe we can do a triple date with all our mates sometime." Jackson said with a smile on his face.

"After she's more comfortable and get settled. Is that alright." Knox said looking at me.

"Yeah that's fine. Nice to meet you both by the way." I said holding my hand out.

"Nice to meet you." They both said as they shook my hand.

"So how did you guys meet?" Jackson asked looking between Knox and I.

"Would you like me to tell them or you?" Knox asked me.

"You can tell them. It's fine." I said nuzzling into his chest as he held me.

"We met at the bar that's not far from here yesterday.  I walked and immediately scented her. She was at the bar looking down at her drink. She looked so sad." Knox said pulling me closer.

And I welcomed it.

"Why were you so sad?" Jackson asked with remorse.

"My ex-fiance dumped me. And the woman he cheated on me with texted me to gloat about how she stole my man and taking my place. After that I drove until I saw the bar. I've never been to that bar until yesterday." I said before I went back to nuzzling his chest.

"Damn. Sounds like one of those text stories that are on YouTube." Ryder said as he continued to munch on the bag of chips.

"That's not half of it. Her ex called while we were you know. Knox and I had a little fun messing with his head. Then just a few minutes ago the girl that my ex cheated on me with called to gloat some more. Then invited me to the wedding all while demanding that I gives them $3000 as a wedding gift.

But here's the kicker Knox came into the conversation because I was getting pissed and introduced himself. And she wanted to give my ex back and give her Knox." I finished as I looked at two bewildered wolves.

"Damn it is like those text stories." Ryder said sitting down at the table.

"Sorry it happened to you though. It must hurt to get cheated on " Jackson said looking at me with remorse as he sat down next to Ryder.

"It is what is." Was all I said.

If I'm honest it still hurts to have been cheated on. It makes me a little afraid that I could lose Knox since there is still rejection.

What if Knox rejects me one day. What if he gets tired of me and cheats on my like all my exes.

Am I going to have another woman texting me out of nowhere gloating about how she stole Knox from me.

Man how could I have been stupid and get swept up in the mating bond. I hardly know him.

"Jesse are you alright?" Knox asked me breaking me from my train of thought.

"Um yeah. Um I forgot I have something to do today." As I jumped down counter grabbing my keys from the table Knox dropped them on.

"Are you sure your ok?" As Knox followed me out the door.

"Yes I'm fine." As my voice shook a little as I wiped my tears away.

As I opened my trucks door it got slammed shut by Knox.

"What's wrong?" Knox growled.

"And don't lie to me." Knox said as I opened my mouth.

"I just need to run some errands today is all." As I tried to open my door again only for Knox to shut it back and leave it shut.

"Have you forgotten I can feel your emotions change. I can feel how sad you just got. I can also smell you crying. So are you going tell me what's wrong or are we just going to keep playing this game." Knox said sounding worried.

"I was dumb to get swept away with the mate bond. You'll get tired of me an reject me and I'll be in the same situation as I was in yesterday. I don't really know you. And I just jumped into bed with you the first night. So I rather leave before I get into deep and save myself from some more pain." I finished and I was full blown crying as I tried to open the door.

"Jesses calm down. Breathe." As he turned me around and held me tight against his chest leaving me no chose but to breathe in his scent calming me down a little.

"I'm sorry you had to go through all that. But you need to trust and believe that I would never do that to you. I've been wanting my mate ever since I turned eighteen. I was so sad when all my friends found their mates.

I was about ready to give up hope. Then I found you. Please believe me when I say I'm head over heels in love with you and I would never betray you like that. I know you can feel that I'm telling the truth." He said as he held me close and swaying from side to side calming me down some.

"Ok. I'm sorry." Was all I said since I had no energy to argue.

"You don't have to apologize about being afraid of history repeating itself." Knox said as he held me closer.

"But it won't." He added.

"Ok. But I still need to go back to my house to get some things." As I pulled away to look at Knox.

"Why don't we eat some breakfast and we'll go together." Knox said wiping all the tears away.

"You don't have to. I can get them myself. I'm sure your busy." As I looked down at my shoes.

"Have you already forgotten that we can't be to far from each other. Besides I can still feel how you want to run." Damn I know how to block my mind. But guess you can't block emotions.

"Now let's get some food into you. I can hear your stomach begging for some food." As he led us back into his house that was empty of Ryder and Jackson.

Guess he mind linked them and told them that we need some privacy.

As Knox sat me down at the table he went to make us some breakfast.

And my thoughts were how do I get out of this before my heart gets broken again.
