It's now 10 days later on the 16th. Gabby's now 17 weeks and six days pregnant. "Gabby are you awake"Matt says. "Yes I've been awake for ages Matt"Gabby said. Is there anything worryingly you babe"Matt said. "Im just worried about everything just like any new mom"Gabby said. "We've both got work to do today and tomorrow before we have that board meeting day"Matt said. "What time have we got to start from and can we do it here in our home"Gabby asks. "We can start from whatever time we want to and yes we can work from home today"Matt says.
"Matt do you know when we can arrange for your moms parole officer to visit us"Gabby asks. "Gabby we can leave a message for him saying that we're free on the 25th and 26th"Matt says. "We could do that now before we start work"Gabby says. "That's a good idea love it will give us a piece of mind and one thing ticked of the list"Matt says. "Why don't you give Phil Jeffries a call it would be best if you phone him yourself don't forget to ask him about having it here at home"Gabby says as she passes the phone number to Matt.
It's now 9am and as Matt dials in the number on his cell phone.
Matthew Casey:Hello Phil my name is Matthew Casey and I believe that you're my moms parole officer.
Phil Jeffries:What's your moms name Mr Casey.
Matthew Casey:My moms name is Nancy Annalyn Casey.
Phil Jeffries:Yes I know that name it says on her paperwork that there's your sister Christie.
Matthew Casey:That's right there's me and my sister.
Phil Jeffries:Will she be with you at the meeting.
Matthew Casey:Thats why I'm phoning you about.
Phil Jeffries:Are you arranging the meeting.
Matthew Casey:My fiancé and myself have agreed to let her live with us.
Phil Jeffries:That's always a priority is having them live in a stable house plus we will need to come to your house.
Matthew Casey:That's understandable.
Phil Jeffries:I understand that you've got your own family business.
Matthew Casey:That's right I was wondering if you can do the meeting at the house.
Phil Jeffries:That's going to be better we can see where she'll be living when she's released at the end of the month, when are you free for that meeting.
Matthew Casey:We're free on the 25th and 26th.
Phil Jeffries:I'm free either at 12pm or 2pm on the 25th or at 11am or 1pm on the 26th Mr Casey.
Matthew Casey:We'll take the 12pm slot please Phil Jeffries you'll see where to park in our staff underground car park.
Phil Jeffries:Appointment booked and will you be meeting me when I've parked.
Matthew Casey:It won't be me it will be my driver Mr Rogers and I'll send you the address of our home.
Phil Jeffries:I'll see you and your fiancé at 12pm on the 25th Matthew Casey.
Matthew Casey:See you then Phil Jeffries.
Once Matt finishes on the phone with Phil Jeffries he focuses his attention to the day. "Matt did you manage to get through and book a slot with Phil Jeffries"Gabby asks. "Yes baby I got through its booked for 12pm on the 25th"Matt said. "That's good and is he coming here"Gabby says. "Yes he's coming here"Matt says. "That's good Matt"Gabby says. "We need to get dressed and set up the paperwork so we can do the Revenues for the Firefighters Ambulances and Police on one graph to show what we need them on separate ones"Matt says. "I agree love will you be able to help me get dressed"Gabby says. "You don't need to ask me baby"Matt says.
