"Gabby take my hands"Matt said as they walked to the bathroom. "Matt I feel better now"Gabby said. "Have you taken your medication Gabby"Matt said. "Not yet babe"Gabby said. "Gabby"Matt said. "I'll take it when we get dressed as it's on the bedside table"Gabby said. "Ok love"Matt said as they left the bathroom and walked to their bedroom to get dressed into their office gear.
"Was that our front door"Matt said. "I think it was Matt"Gabby said. "Can you put your t-shirt on Gabby while I go to the door"Matt said. "Yes I can put my t-shirt on as I've got my skirt on thanks to your help babe"Gabby said. "I'll go and see who's at the door Gabby while you finish getting ready"Matt said.
As Matt goes to the front door Gabby finished doing her makeup. "Who is it"Matt said. "It's me Matt"Christie said. "Why didn't you tell us that you were coming to see me this morning"Matt said as they both walked inside as the door closed behind them. "Sorry thought you wouldn't mind the help"Christie said. "If you come round in the future please can you phone us in case we're not dressed"Matt said. "I get it Matt"Christie said as Gabby walks out of the bedroom with the paperwork.
"Hello Christie how are you" Gabby said. "I'm good thanks"Christie said. "That's good to hear"Gabby said. "You're getting big Gabby how are my nieces or nephews doing"Christie asks. "They're doing well Christie"Gabby says as Matt shows his sister their latest scan pictures. "Ladies we better get on with work we can talk about family stuff once we've done with what we're due to do"Matt said. "You're right Matt"Christie said.
It's how 10am and with all the paperwork all set up on the coffee table Matt Gabby and Christie are doing the revenues and statistics while sitting down on the sofa as Gabby will be more comfortable. "Christie can you do the Police Area"Matt said. Matt can I do the Ambulance"Gabby says. "That leaves the firefighters for you Matt"Christie said. "We'll do each of the areas separate then we'll do one as one"Matt said as bit of the ladies agreed.
"Matt pie charts will be easier to read by using the symbol %"Gabby said. "Yes baby pie charts are good we'll use them"Matt said. "We better get on with them"Christie said. "Yes"Matt said. As Christie does the Police area she notices that they need more cars out on the road for tomorrow but something doesn't add up with the revenue from the last quarterly statistics with the recent expected revenue so she asks her boss what to do. "Matt can you take a look please"Christie says. "What seems to be the problem"Matt asks. "The figures don't seem to add up"Christie says as Matt looks at them and notices that's there's something missing they've missed out the individual items that the Police need to protect the city(safety vests all the different types of guns etc). "Christie I see what the problem is"Matt says. "What shall I do Matt"Christie asks. "You need to phone Hank Voight who's head of District 21 while us two get on with the Ambulance and Firefighters area"Matt said. "I'll get onto it straight away.
As Christie gets on the phone and talks to Hank Voight Matt and Gabby get to work. "Gabby does the figures add up"Matt asks. "Matt yes they do, is there a problem with the Police Figures"Gabby asked. "Yes the problem is that someone either missed out or forgot to include the individual items list those items are important part of the figures and statistics"Matt says. "Are your figures adding up Matt"Gabby asks. "Gabby it's just the Police Figures"Matt said as they talk through the figures of the Ambulance and Firefighters. "Gabby have you added up all of the equipment figures"Matt says. "Yes here's the amount"Gabby said as she showed Matt the six digit number. Wow this is really good $81,850 revenue"Matt said. "It is"Gabby says. "This figure is what we expect all the time from our recent customers and our future buyers"Matt said. "Matt I'm going to do a bar chart with the equipment figures then we can see then individually"Gabby explained. "It will sound better on paper Gabby"Matt said. "Yes it will Matt and I wonder how your skate is getting on speaking to Hank Voight"Gabby said.
"Christie's been on the phone for almost two hours"Matt said. As Christie has been put on hold Matt thinks some lunch is in order. "Gabby Christie I'm going to do us some sandwiches"Matt said. "I'll come and help you love I need to stretch my legs I've been sitting down for far too long"Gabby said as the couple get off the side and walk towards the kitchen. "We need to tell your sister that we're busy on the 25th"Gabby said. "We'll tell her afterwards"Matt said as he was making the sandwiches for the three of them.
"Sorry to keep you waiting Christie"Detective Halstead said. "That's ok is your boss there it's pretty urgent"Christie asks. "Is it something that I can help you with my boss has just gone out the room to do something"Halstead says. "We're missing the revenues for the individual items"Christie says. "I know what you're on about Christie"Halstead says. "I need them now Jay"Christie said. "I'll bring them to you straight away"Halstead said. "See you soon"Christie says.
The 3 of them are having a lunch break while they wait for Detective Jay Halstead to arrive with the missing evidence...
